Usually those remodels are done at a much lower cost by just extending the slope of the roof. That could help explain why the window is so low.

The "den" area (where she stayed when she first moved in) is an addition. I think the bedroom is original to the house. It wouldn't make sense for a house to have one bedroom but two bathrooms...

I think you might be getting hung up on the word 'bariatric'. It's just a common adjustable bed available at any overpriced mattress outlet. It's the height of the mattress that's telling and that the head appears to be slightly elevated.

I agree, there are no rails. In today's video just posted and recorded on Memorial Day, the bed is clearly on the floor! It IS a new adjustable bed!

It might be an adjustable bed without handrails, but I've never seen one without headboards/footboards to keep the mattress on the frame. I would hate to think that she'd spend thousands on a new bed instead of admitting that she has sleep-apnea and getting a cpap.

Obviously she can't sleep lying down or she'd suffocate. However, sleeping sitting up isn't a solution for sleep apnea. So fine, she's not suffocating to death if she's sitting up but she is no doubt still having apneic events all night that are putting tremendous strain on her already-struggling heart. I’m trying to remember if any of the caretakers on my 600lb life slept in the same room, let alone the same bed, as the patient and I don’t think there’s a single one. What a life.
