Well, malatrova has been feeding Marijan info since his departure. My guess is Mari wants access to chat or off-topic to try and dig up some info on members. Malatrova also posted a screen grab of him talking to Mari on Facebook, with Mari's Facebook name as "Marijan Skugor". All he'd have to do is go into disco, gather the general consensus (Barb sucks, Chris is dumb, etc.) and post along those lines to get the uprates he needs to gain access to other areas. Again, this is all just speculation though.
