In light of people finding out about his foot fetish, several instances in his shows became much more disturbing. iCarly featured lots of scenes with close-ups of the teen stars' feet, one of which was included in the opening sequence for at least one season. Victorious had an entire episode where the B-plot was the characters getting a foot treatment that involves tiny fish eating off dead skin, and spending plenty of time in the episode stroking each other's feet and saying how smooth and nice the feet feel.
The logo of Nickelodeon on one of their buildings was even a foot for a bit.
When I was a kid, I saw nothing wrong with those scenes. When I was a teen, I saw nothing wrong with those scenes. Feet do nothing at all for me, so I didn't see the foot humor as anything more than lolrandom humor. Plus I really loved the shows, so I didn't want to think about anything unsavory occurring behind the scenes, even if I had gotten a bad feeling about the feet.
But knowing about the foot fetish makes it immediately apparent that those scenes are very sexually stimulating for the right (wrong?) people, and therefore more than a bit questionable since teens/tweens are involved. Just because I personally don't get aroused doesn't mean that it's okay.

I do wonder, however, how much longer is Wendylou and their supporters plan on carrying on the Notsexual™ charade? Even if it doesn’t get the opposition it should, Desmond’s future does not look good. In a couple of years’ time, he’ll be hitting puberty. “Former child drag queen, now just regular drag queen” isn’t much of a selling point.
