Honestly if you want to attack or criticize Jim, calling him a hypocrite probably is the weakest approach. The clip of him making fun of selling merch from a few months ago has him taking issue with it because he couldn't sell a decent product, not that he had a particular issue with it.

You could poke him and say, "Hey faggot, this isn't much better than just getting a blank cap and scribbling some stars on it.", that has more merit than the hypocrisy point I think. And it definitely feels cynical on Jim's part.

Yeah, it's perfectly normal behavior, but again, in the context of a guy who established his fanbase through continually and loudly mocking others for the same thing he's doing now it's not surprising or unfair that there'd be backlash.

Metokur's reaction and change of heart to merch is understandable given the huge target on his back. If the lawsuit is actualized then that makes Metokur tangible to all of the spergs he's made fun of over the years who seek revenge. The court documents will reveal he is not an enigmatic force but an actual person with fears that can be exploited.

On the topic of merch, the designs are shit and the quality is shit. And why the fuck didn't he make a JimCo shirt?

Yeah but he didn't start making fun of selling merch a few months ago. I remember him taking the piss out of DSP years ago for this shit, and other people before that. He's made fun of the idea of he himself selling merch.

I'm not really looking for a point of attack to trigger the Jims and own the Jims, but he pretty much can't grandstand on this issue anymore.

Tbh if he came out and just said that he's flipping positions, there wouldn't be all this sperging. Or perhaps if his merch was centered on the premise of an e-celebs legal defense... But as stands I have trouble viewing this move as what Jim purports it to be. In all likelihood, you're not going to need a war chest to defend against a skitzo's legal attempts. If I'm not mistaken, Monty's legal endeavors have summounted into nothing more than quick defeats. This isn't weeb wars here.
