It is sworn testimony and the trial hasn't started yet so it can be entered into evidence. However, I suspect that some of these depositions are second or maybe even third hand accounts and cannot be admitted for that reason because they aren't witness testimony at that point.

I'm not too sure how well even the ones that are admissible will hold up though. Thanks to super lawyer Casey Erick they're going to be public and largely unredacted. I wonder if there are any web forums out there with a large userbase that loves to analyze piles of information that will go through those affidavits with a fine tooth comb.

It could be awhile, possibly towards the end of the year. Ron and Monica know that they'll get slaughtered so they have every incentive to delay if at all possible. There's a strong expectation that they'll file a TCPA motion soon which will stay discovery while the court sorts that out. There's also a possibility that they settle out at some point as well and it never goes to trial.

Given that there are three co-defendants, does that mean a TCPA would stay discovery on the part of Jamie and Funimation? Also, a while back somebody said that Jamie could face summary judgment because of dodging? Is that still in play?

I don't know, but unless they say something more severe than "he pinched my booty" it doesn't matter if their admissible or not; there's a massive gulf between what they're currently claiming and what they claimed when they were ruining his life.

They flat out called him a rapist and a pedophile, and Toye specifically said there was a criminal investigation. Even if he did grab a few asses, he wouldn't have been damaged the way he was if that's all they had.

Monica wanting to go to trial is dumb enough, but Ron should really be begging Ty and Vic to settle at this point. Ty already had the most evidence against Ron of all the defendants and that was before Ron decided to go full retard and fucked up his attempt at an affirmative defense with his bs "I can't remember anything" routine.
