Obviously gotta wait for confirmation but I can see how this is likely happening.

Conventions likely go through Toei and other anime studios to get Japanese guests because I don't see them talking to their talent agencies. And whatever Toei is hearing about the situation can't be spun in any positive light especially pertaining to their talent pool. Imagine someone trying to pull this metoo shit on the foreign guests. Catch them when they don't have a translator nearby to defend themselves and they are absolutely fucked.
No, you've got it all wrong, you nazi, rape-apologist Vic Stan! Clearly Toei is boycotting US conventions because they're #KickVic! Stay in your lane and eat an apple! Bottom text!

Sure.

Amber Lee Connors and Natalie Hoover are in Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo.
Amber Lee Connors has been in a few others
Sarah Wiedenheft, Brittany Lauda, and Amber Lee Connors were in Huniepop (while not an actual hentai, there's porno moans)
I forgot the name of it but Matt Shipman and Brittany Lauda were in a show. Forgot the name. Something Dere, episode 2. Amusing since they're married IRL. Also because they play Hiro and Ichigo in Darling in the Franxx.

As for Stephanie Sheh, I think it was at a time when a voice job was a voice job. She hasn't done anything hentai related since.

And yeah, I find the whole english VA thing to be more amusing than titillating.
Well it shows that nobody cares about hentai dubs (old and new). They are hilariously bad. Japanese eroge (and hentai) seiyuus are much better.

I think FUNimation is going to have a hard time with their TCPA considering they let multiple VAs and their cucks run roughshod over Vic's name on twitter without once correcting the record. Seems hard for them to argue against all of this when chunks of their investigation some how ended up in the hands of a balding mortage adivisor.

It's even weirder how their TCPA motion somehow fell into the hands of a dildo with ears the dayoit was filed. Really makes you think.

Exactly. Of all the parties, I will say it seems like they probably are the most likely to succeed with a TCPA because, as far as we know so far, there isn't anything directly linking Funimation besides that all of these chucklefuck VAs seem to have been speaking under the guise that they're agents of the company. Unfortunately for Funi, the fact that they never publicly denounced these claims means that you can argue that these VAs have acted with apparent authority, especially since these VAs (and somehow a fucking realtor) managed to obtain and discuss information regarding a confidential investigation. A reasonable person, given this information, would almost certainly decide that these people must be involved with the company in some official manner to have said information, and as far as I've read that's really all you need to be considered an agent.

Granted, I am not a lawyer, so I could be completely off base here; I would greatly appreciate corrections from anyone who actually knows what the hell they're talking about.

The weird thing is that it's actually in Monica and Ron's best interest that Funimation not win their TCPA motion and get out of the suit. Since Vic's case was filed with joint liability, the more people that are part of the suit, the less they owe. We already saw that in their original response they didn't even try to deny that Ron was acting as an agent of Funimation which was one of the claims put forth by the plaintiff. I could see Ron leaking information since he's been doing it with Shane.

I have heard through the grapevine that Toei is locking down all of their Japanese VA's from making US appearances until further notice. I am unable to confirm any explicit details except that it has to do with the KickVic situation.
Something to keep in mind is when the news got out that Moronica was harassing the KC owner to let Vic go and later re-invited him (word's still out about Sabat but I firmly believe he was involved too), Ryō Horikawa - The Japanese VA of Vegeta announced that he was going to miss the con. Seems pretty coincidental.

You know what’s kind of funny? So many people over the last few months have focused on the defamation that it seems that they’ve forgotten that there’s two different allegations being made. Anyone know what Vic’s chances look like with the TI and civil conspiracy fronts? Also, does he have to win all three to “clear his name and restore his reputation”?

It will be tough to nail Funi with the TI and laughably easy to nail the MoRons. The idiots clearly did TI. Getting Funi with it requires them to have done it as Funis agents and not as individual assholes. Sabat is definitely the buried pile of shit in this that links it all up on that end.

The weakest case still remains Marchi. All they got on her is the tweets for now. Nothing to show she was calling up conventions or threatening contractual breach to get cons to breach with Vic. She just acted the spastic on twitter and was smart enough to keep what she did behind the scenes private

He seems to have better than even odds of winning it all IMO. However even if he does, the SJW/Woker than thou types will continue defaming him until society has their fill of these subhumans and puts them in cages/institutions where they belong. They cannot be fixed and once this is over, they will stir the coals until more legal action is required. Rinse repeat.

Usually only emergency or higher up decisions will be able to cancel a contract. So it lends weight to potential of "Toei not being too pleased by this." theory/rumor

Well, what about her as She-Devil in that Discord calling for that one convention that dropped her to be "dragged"? I think that needs to be considered when making a case that she is shown to be more than capable of doing the things accused of her.

The way I see it, winning the defamation portion restores his name, the TI part helps with his money.

In Texas, truth isn't a defense in TI, so Vic could win mad money from the tortoise interference part, but if he loses the defamation part people will point to that and say he's a molester. The cons aren't obligated to invite him back.

Has anyone been able to pinpoint who that was yet? I remember the analysis, but that was just speculation.

Well, Ron has literally authenticated leaked messages where he cartoonishly commits TI, more concrete for the rest of them would likely come out in discovery. Civil conspiracy is also more likely to come through discovery, though I don't think Ty would talk so boldly about Iago, Igor, and Renfield unless he had something absolutely concrete that was sure to come out in round 1 discovery. As for Funimation, I think it's easy for them to dodge direct defamation, as all they really have is the single tweet around Vic's firing, but what will screw them is vicarious liability.

Nick got the info from the remaining deposition but it's mostly about the ANN and I09 articles it seems, today its ty's daughters stream.

I'm an atheist (small a not A) I don't go around trying to talk people out of their faith, if someone says they are praying for me I thank them and move on, if they say grace (or similar) I bow my head.

But given all that I am still an atheist and tell people if they ask.

That said, some christians are among the best people I know and I respect whatever they faith they want to profess. Anyone attacking Vic on faith based grounds is just looking for something to bitch about.
That’s because you actually are an atheist. The neckbearded fedora types who claim they are atheist are in reality just faggots.
