Those affidavits are beyond belief: one is from a person saying that Monica Rial (one of the people being sued for defamation and civil conspiracy in this lawsuit) told her that Vic is 100% a bad dude; while the other is from a Funimation employee (one of the parties being sued for defamation and civil conspiracy in this lawsuit) alleging that Vic is 100% a bad dude. Both with zero evidence!

Just like Casey's initial response to the lawsuit, this could just as easily be filed as proof against the parties, it's mind-blowing

I'll say one thing though for this TCPA motion: they really went all-out with it. For us it's clear this is utter rubbish: seeing 8 different Anime News Network articles being cited as serious evidence is the epitome of ludicrous but there's a chance a 140-page document trying to sell the idea might end up creeping on someone who's not paying due diligence and not really interested. We'll see how it goes and I gotta commend their defense for really putting their all on this but at the same time it's a desperation move when they're going all-out on a TCPA in the hopes that it will make what's obviously a serious lawsuit go away.

It's pretty depressing to think someone that immature and stupid has children.

People like Sabat and Rial--people who put up a sweet facade to hide a rotten core--HATE people who are naturally charming and engaging, because it reminds them that, no matter how much they pretend, they can never be HALF as well-liked and respected as someone who's genuine.

Ironically, fake people are more likely to accuse other people of being fake.

They're literally the scum of the earth, getting a hard-on out of their own hypocrisy and virtue-signaling while doing absolutely nothing to actually help anyone who's been through a rough experience - and quite literally making it worse too. I can only hope to see MoRonica, Mariachi and Funimation burn in the cross for the sins of their people, and that's just the first round too baby it won't solve the SJW cancer, not even close, but it sure is cathartic as all of the fuck to see it coming to them!

And from what I heard they did pretty good with Camp Camp, Gen:Lock and the sales in their store are pretty strong. We can only base around TW incomes since they are owned by them. Add the fact, the news of this were taken lukewarmly by the fanbase. And we are seeing them keeping business as usual.

It is going to take something akin to murder to even put them on a critical state. The resistance and anger toward the company is there. But I am afraid its not enough to kill them on the long run. Personally, I am too indifferent to the idea of them dying. I just want to know what the fuck went behind the scenes.

Truer words have rarely been spoken. Without revealing power levels, I work in a far-removed field of entertainment and I see a lot of the same types of people that I imagine Vic has had to deal with. Fielding friendships among entertainers has been something of a crapshoot for me in my particular field. There are absolutely a lot of people that are overly dramatic, entitled, and the ilk that will accuse others of being fake while plastering a smile on their face and talking insane levels of shit once your back is turned.

On the one hand, it's frustrating to deal with these types on a near-daily basis. On the other hand, it's almost hilarious to be accused of being an "overachiever" and "making other people look bad" because you're willing to do more than the bare minimum of your job, so the lazy/entitled ones immediately get upset and blame you for their inaction. And in a way, those types remind me the most of some of Vic's accusers.

I bet Rial and company just hate how intrinsically charming and magnetic Vic is. I bet they blame him for getting all of the recognition among fans, operating under their flawed assumption that he's making them look bad. The truth can be a hard pill to swallow; they want Vic's reputation (or at least what it was before they tried destroying it) and the love that he gets from fans without having to put in any work. Their "master plan" for achieving this feat was to get rid of him and hope that the loyal fanbase left over from his absence would be theirs for the taking. Maybe if he is gone, they'll love us the way they loved him.

Unfortunately for these spergs, a sizable chunk of the fanbase has more than a few spastic, unstable brain cells and their ploy was as transparent as a freshly washed window. Now they've fucked over their chances of ever being loved the way that Vic is. I almost pity them, in a way. It's heartbreaking to see that some human beings are truly this pathetic.

On a serious note, it was hilariously easy to see where the strength and conviction of their hate-boners came from. I'd kill for half the intrinsic charisma and charm Vic has. Even when the crowd at the con began to disperse (and this was due to how hilariously under-advertised the event was) he constantly had people around him. People wanted to be at his table, or wherever he was. He made people laugh, made them smile. Ironically enough, he also put people at ease, despite what the #KickVic crowd will tell you. I'm usually pretty reserved around people that I don't know (I know, I'm a big hit at parties) and I chattered away like a tree full of birds when I was at his table.
