Yup. He had a major brain hemorrhage and is already showing signs of brain damage. If he hadn't gotten medical attention as soon as he did, he probably would have died that very same day.

Even with medical attention, a brain hemorrhage can kill unexpectedly days or in some cases even weeks after the initial symptoms of injury have stopped.

Another rough thing about those is the possibility of reinjury. The damage mitigation of the skull and brain design has already been bypassed. It wouldn't take something major to fuck him up next.

Not only have they possible killed or crippled him, but they've just fucked up his entire life even if he doesn't show any deficits or have any side effects.

If he does drop dead, what are the odds on some serious anti-Antifa violence? Lynch mobs, pipe bombs, gunfire at Antifa riots, that sort of thing? Because he's kinda become a flashpoint in the anti-Antifa side of things, and he's pretty sympathetic. He's also everything the left claims to love -- a gay minority immigrant(?) journalist -- except he's committed the sin of wrongthink and therefore must die.

If it happened in Portland it would be driven by people flying in from elsewhere. Right wingers in that city are too beat down and passive to start shit at this point. Who knows what might happen in reaction to the next antifa event though.

One thing to remember is just south of Portland, and just Northwest of Longview, were "Protestor for Hire" enclaves, usually used by the left for demonstrations and the like.

Which means that Portland has been pinched between two sets of leftist organized and funded protestor groups who used the streets of Portland for practice.

Maybe it's changed since the 80/90's.
