I'll be perfectly frank, I'm convinced that half the reason they hate Vic so much is that he's extremely flamboyant and far removed from traditional masculinity, but is also a vaguely conservative heterosexual christian. And really, his eccentric nature probably makes him more vulnerable to the kind of accusations he's facing now. It's easier to start rumors and hearsay against the weirdo who doesn't fit into any of society's preconceived notions of what certain groups of people should and should not look and act like.

• saw some random people from twitter
• recognized them as twitter people who hate his wife enough to start some sort of public altercation
• recognized that they knew his wife had gone to that restroom
• Under stood that they hate his wife so much that they were willing to wait outside in an impromptu stakeout in order to publicly harass his wife the instant she walked out of the bathroom
• decided that the best solution was to whip out the camera and stare at these people instead of, say, getting security

Yeah, I'm sure that checks out with KC security.
