Well it makes sense, looking at it from a KV-stan perspective. Someone comes out with information that someone else "vetted", and you take it and run with the narrative.

Best case scenario, you get a victory point out of it and make your side feel stronger. Worst case scenario, the information turns out to be fake and you just blame the source, and blame KiwiFarms for "starting it".

Either way, you get to huff your own stench and feel like you did a moral justice. Cognitive dissonance at it's finest, on display

These morons faildoxed so hard I want them to have to force read Sherlock Holmes' "The Five Orange Pips".

It's basically how to dox and do it right for utter morons.

For those that don't get the reference:

A guy named John Openshaw is murdered by the killers who murdered his father and uncle. All were killed after reading death notices sent them in letters with five orange seeds, or pips.

The killers were American, former Ku Klux Klan members (hence the pips, their calling card, the victims knew their secrets), and all the kills were made after they sent the death letters.

Holmes doxed them by realizing all the post marks were from port cities, the date the letters reached the victims matched up with mail routes from port cities mentioned on the letters, and since the kills matched up precisely, the killers were traveling by boat, so by doxing the American crew of the boat known to have been in all three ports when the letters were sent, he'd find the killers.

Holmes then compared mail routes and port manifests for the days in question, found the ship and crew that matched all three kills and the travel routes the letters could have conceivably followed, THEN he doxed their asses after making sure all the facts lined up.

Are you sure? I seem to remember Case of the Orange Pips being one of the few times Sherlock couldn't solve a mystery, because there simply wasn't enough information to do so. He did deduce that the killers were on a ship, and which ship it likely was, but he couldn't identify the exact passengers doing it, nor could he figure out how the deaths were being caused. Watson remarked that it was this case, among a select few others, that he would remember any time someone thought that there was nothing Sherlock couldn't solve.

Maybe it was that he identified the killers, but not the method. I don't know, it's been a while.

Apparently, he thinks Ty or nick didn't expect a TCPA, even though they constantly say "they may file it sooner or later" at every stream.

It's insulting that the puffed up lawtwitter seriously wants people to believe this case is anything like a SLAPP case. If they at least argued that Vic had a good case but Ty was screwing it up with his poor pleadings, I might be inclined to give them credit. Maybe their criticisms of the pleading had some kind of merit, despite BHBH clearly being aware of these criticisms and refusing to amend the pleadings in response. Instead, they pull this absolute tosh. Now, I know there's actual law experts here who may correct me on this, but from my impression SLAPP is for things like the Church of Scientology trying to sue anyone who so much as questions their culty ways, or so that multibillionare Donald Trump can't pimp slap every twitter rando who calls him Small Hands with a lawsuit they can't possibly afford to fight. It's designed to stop someone from using the courts to punish people for free speech.

What I am pretty sure it's not for is when people demonstrably destroy your reputation, obliterate your work prospects, and constantly tweet life-ruining lies about you because they don't like you. Particularly when they are actually successful in their attempt at all points. These people's campaign have dragged Vic's name so far into the dirt that people who had never even heard of him before January now think of him as a child groping creep. It also doesn't seem like it should cover a group of people conspiring to interfere with existing contracts and work opportunities, especially when they don't just do it once, they're actively continuing to do all of the above even while actively being sued.

This should have no bearing on the quality of the pleadings. On its face, there's just no way this case is a standard SLAPP case. I know they're bizarrely hanging on the idea that this man none of them have ever heard of will be named a public figure, but even as a public figure, I don't see any way you could look at this as a case where people are just exercising their right to criticize a well-known figure. They literally call places that book him and harass them until they back out of it (or have a meltdown on twitter if they fail to do so). That is not calling AOC a horsefaced mushmouth, or Kanye an overrated wife beater. That is a step beyond.

Anyway. Anyone who claims this lawsuit is SLAPP material not because they don't think the pleadings are sufficient, but because they think there isn't a case is an idiot I immediately lose all respect for.

• saw some random people from twitter
• recognized them as twitter people who hate his wife enough to start some sort of public altercation
• recognized that they knew his wife had gone to that restroom
• Under stood that they hate his wife so much that they were willing to wait outside in an impromptu stakeout in order to publicly harass his wife the instant she walked out of the bathroom

It honestly makes sense that Funimation takes the risk because they can afford it if they lose and settle. It's why I'm speculating why they threw everybody else in the suit under the bus. If MoRon or Marchi does it and fails, it means they have to eat their own words without the support of Funimation.

Also, 8 hours and 15 pages later, emspex's failed dox and misinformation campaign just further proves that Peppersperg and Tacosperg are still Marchi's lapdog from their leaked Discord. Bragging about a dox Discord only raises further suspicion that the usual suspects are at play again, this information will all come out when Marchi hands over her social media information.

I'm not so sure Moronica going under the bus isn't the plan. I may be repeating myself but I think it was another topic. Ron and Monica skipped their TCPA and did deposition first. They can still do a TCPA. This appears to be out of typical order if you follow Nick's comments on the issue. Then you have Funimation's TCPA come out immediately after the depositions. I think Moronica skipped their TCPA so they could go on a fishing expedition with the depositions in hopes of finding something to the benefit of Funi's TCPA. They are using Moronica's Actions in and out of Court to Funi's benefit. They're possibly a wink and nod deal to reimburse Moronica later. Replacting Toye's savings is probably way cheaper than what they stand to lose.
