I'm mostly looking for clips. I think I have the story down. If there's 100% something I need to show to present a clear picture of the rise and fall, let me see.
I'm assuming you're more up to date on the fall than the rise. I'm a genuine fan of him, and here are what I think are his glory moments:
-Tyler records an audio book of Elliot Rodger's manifesto in his silly angry Mumkey voice, and proceeds to
clickbait every embarrassing moment in The Supreme Gentleman's life for massive views
-He gets kicked off the Pro Crastinator's podcast without a word, and one of the fans cares enough to
make an entire channel dedicated to exposing Digibro for being a manipulative cunt who keeps awful company. (this is how I found him!)
-
A movie So Bad It Killed 7 People is a video making fun of Elliot's Dad making an abysmal documentary on humanity's connection with God, meanwhile his son becomes a spree killer.
-Mumkey tries to get Daddy Derek of Cool Cat fame to let him play the school shooter in Cool Cat Stops a School Shooting, in exchange for leveraging his fandom to get the $20k to fun the creation of the movie. Daddy Derek takes the money and skedaddles, changing the title of the film. Mumkey makes it up to his fandom by making a pretty funny school shooting movie for like $5.
Just going to link to this video because I'm tired and lazy.
-He makes
a documentary about an old web series he used to watch, which was decently interesting. Then,
the creator of said webseries gets enormously pissed at him for daring to interview his former co-star, whomst's girlfriend he slept with.
I dunno Mumkey, this post took like 30 minutes, but I honestly had a great time. This is what bothers me, even though I hope he does not kill himself or fully drive his career into the dirt and then kill himself, is that his finest moments were him retelling the story of someone else. Sometimes in a less-than-kind way.
Tyler has often made a big deal out of the importance of originality. I agree to some extent. He has criticized Digibro for daring to call himself an artist, even though he only makes anime reviews that are by nature derivative of the original work. But I would take Tyler's videos lambasting the Supreme Gentleman over his original short films any day. They're fun!
