God damn I was listening to nick go through everything tonight, what in God’s name was their fixation on the gofundme about? How many times can Vic say he’s out of the loop on it.

The twitter brigade really latched onto his responses about kissing kids though, so I guess mission accomplished there

The GFM is a tangible expression of fan support. It can be used to point out some execs f'd up, for example. It can be used to prove Vic is not alienated from fans. A good twitter smear campaign pretends the target is isolated in hopes reality follows reputation. Twitter support is easy to misrepresent but a giant GFM is hard to spin.

In an underlying way, a GFM is a way for people to push back against Social Media smear campaigns. If you're good at it and don't have a conscience, destroying someone with a few clicks must be fun. Silicon Valley is ignoring the problem and criminal law is slow to respond. Civil law is the only option, but too expensive for most people on their own.

As Nick has said, even before they filed this: THEY HATE THE GOFUNDME. Hence why they're trying to involve Nick in the lawsuit. Here's a timeline:

1. Nick shills the GFM for the lulz because he knows it will piss them off.
2. It pisses them off.
3. They're mad enough to depose a youtube journalist lawyer for public information.
4. Nick is vindicated and laughs about it. GOTO: 1

Yet more bullshit that surprisingly won't age well. If there's proof of it, why not submit it? And if there's not; why?

Even (bear with me!) if, even if we lived in the insane backasswards pants-on-head world that MoRonica and their SUUUPAAAHHlolyers inhabit and if the Honorable Judge Chupp has an intermittent brain aneurysm on the day and if he ruled in their favour.....how do they plain on getting into the IOLTA?

Man, I feel so sorry for Vic. This entire experience must have really made him feel alone in the world. All these people he consider friends treating him like utter shit for woke points.
Is this why there was talk of suicide going around? At least Vic has new friends in Nick and Ty. And I don’t even think he’s aware of the kiwis in his corner.

I see that Bulma bunny girl cosplay a lot? Is that a reference to a specific Dragon Ball moment?

So, it’s the OJ trial when Furhman pled the fifth.

(Very smart things to post online!)

Akiva has five children. The oldest three, from his marriage to his ex-wife Miriam Fein, are twins Esther and Ezra (14 years old) then Tehila (11 years old).

Hey, quick question, is it Jewish thing to have your kids participate in elaborate fake weddings (archive)?

His two youngest children are from his new wife, Dalia Sztulwark. Michael (4 years old) and Miya (9 months old).

Akiva's second wife has had some problems of her own! In 2015, she filed a lawsuit against what looks to be a former employer (since she's a nurse), which ended up being dismissed with prejudice. The weird thing is, she file this as a pro se litigant, even though she was already with Akiva at the time. Maybe he just didn't give a shit?

Anyway, if you want to look at some of the litigation Akiva bothered to take part in, you can peruse here.

:story: who honestly posts their mailing address in a photo just to show off a mail delivery? I wonder what his kids will look like once they're grown up, because right now they look like puppies that haven't grown into their paws yet, except in this case it's just extremely prominent facial features. They do say cute kids make unattractive adults, so maybe they'll grow up looking distinguished and elegant.

To be fair to Vic he said "I haven't thought about it", not "I don't know any". You can be a voice actor and celebrity but not pay any attention to what everyone else in the field is doing, which shows he's more focused on his own work and fanbase as opposed to cloutchasing and comparing himself to others.

It's like asking any random streamer if they've heard of Ninja or whoever the fuck is popular now. They might, but just as likely can't be assed to name who the biggest twitch thot or FotM streamer for the FotM game is when all they want to focus on is streaming their speedruns of Barbie's Dream House Adventures.

I would watch a speedrun of Barbie's Dream House Adventures any time. It's only too bad Twitch hates alcohol so it can't be a drunk speedrun,

I hope she remembers this post.

It's honestly not even that shocking Johnny turned out to be innocent. The evidence used against him was super sketchy, and even "Fascism isn't a fashion statement" JK Rowling didn't buy it. Catherine's just an idiot who can't understand women lie sometimes.

So I think the plan was to all betray Vic at once, force him not just out of his jobs but out of the industry (seriously, for what purpose would you even try to force him out of cons? You already fired him and presumably will try to pressure other dubbing companies not to work with him), turn all of his fans against him, and force radio silence on all of his other friends at once if they didn't get involved in actively defaming him. Above board they'd claim it was just purging a sex predator, behind closed doors they'd say it was time for him to be removed, but whoever came up with this plan...knew what that would do to Vic.

I have never met Vic, nor even spoken to him, and I can already see what Nick was alluding to, just from that minute long video where he addresses the suicidal fan. He says "Everyone who contemplates suicide feels completely alone, as if there's no one there for them at all, as if no one would even care if they were around."

The fact that no one would explain to Vic even BS reasons for his firing, that no one was willing to work with him behind the scenes, and that Roosterteeth literally would not even respond to his email after taking a sudden 180 of the guy (clearly not in the know at the time) telling him "I don't believe any of it" just strengthens my belief that they wanted to stab the knife, pull the rug out from under him, and leave him in total darkness in a room with a rope. I mean, it's not like they have multiple people involved in the conspiracy that were also involved in a previous scandal where a 'sexual predator' went and killed himself and everyone around him got a sudden uptick of views and sympathy, or whatever.

Originally I thought Aaron Eckhart as Vic but he is kind of old....

Who else needs to be cast?

Also they're reaaaaally reaching with those VA tweets.
I propose that MarzGurl should be played by a trained squirrel (who'd be more talented than MarzGurl herself is).

I hear the transcript has been dropped but I can't find a link. Would someone be so kind as to provide me a link?

It's packed in with the recent motion to depo Nick, as one of the exhibits.

Also, just as a totally hypothetical question: if discovery happened to reveal actual plotting in messages somewhere to induce Vic's suicide, regardless of whether it was actually successful, is there any kind of new action that would open up? Is that criminal? Or would it just forever sink any hope they had of trying to claim innocence in regards to conspiracy and defamation/etc?

I mean there’s plenty of proof, he hasn’t hidden or been ashamed of interacting with fans in that matter when they ask for it, im just not sure what that has to do with any of this.

I mean I get it, they are using it and phrasing the questions to make it sound like he preys on young fans, when that really doesn’t seem like the case. It’s just so funny how many questions were asked about this sorta stuff and how many conventions cancelled on him over the real allegations that lost him his job lol

Note that this transcript has been maliciously cropped by THE FUHRER to make Vic look bad and to conceal answers that harm MoRonica's case. However as I understand it the video will be available soon, and Nick will be covering it (with rifftrax style commentary) soon.

Oy vey them kids got the bad gene pool roulette

Yea. I feel so sorry for those unfortunate looking children.

Aside from MAYBE Frank Welker, Peter Cullen and Kevin Conroy, are any of those considered to be in the "voice actor community"? I mean, good to know that Emmett Initiative is all for ignoring: Kiefer Sutherland, Cary Elwes, Michael Keaton, Dakota Fanning, Patrick Stewart and Uma Thurman, who have actually done ANIME voices. But most of those are major name Hollywood stars that HAPPEN to have also done voice work. That'd be like asking Derek Jeter if he knew any higher profile baseball players and then mocking him if he said no because Michael Jordan was kind of a big deal. But, I'm also not sure it's to Vic's "benefit" to claim he doesn't know any people in the "voice acting community" that have more celebrity than him.

It was a loaded question. It wasn't in Vic's best interest to give a direct answer. If he said NO he makes the case of being a public figure. If he says YES he still loses because it still makes the case of him being a public figure because he would be accepting the premise.
