Trying to find pictures of other voice actors meeting fans is like trying to find Rial's wetspot. Most of them don't want to hug or kiss...they want to shake a hand and get an autograph. Vic's fans are starstruck and want to hug, kiss, take pictures and chat.

Actually, the "original" is Scott McNeil. He's a friendly guy that goes above and beyond and is really nice to fans and charismatic. Arguably, very early in his career Vic was trying to emulate Scott and even jokingly "cosplayed" as Scott when they were at a convention together. Scott has also been very friendly and has hugged many fans. I'd say the one obvious difference in public is that Scott has never antagonized the Yaoi heavy fujoshis. And so, Scott has never been hassled or had a bunch of rumors foisted on him (AFAIK). And again, even IF we wanna say Vic is a philanderer and Scott is not, Vic literally had YEARS of "homophobe" and whatever other complaints by fans before anyone said anything about other problems.

I know a lot of them have real social anxiety problems, especially teenagers who get caught up in any kind of niche fandom.

I know a lot too, and in my experience they have no more social anxiety than the average person, and certainly not clinical levels. They are driven, probably as a result of the culture in which they grew up, to seek attention.

I can find millions of photos of attractive or talented people kissing or hugging young fans. In googling various search terms I happened to come across several articles along the lines of "why we should not kiss our kids on the lips" "why parents should stop kissing their kids in public" etc etc etc. This is fucking disgusting to me. We have the same idiots screaming to stop sexualing them. stop sexualing our clothing. stop sexualing our sexual parts....but oh...also stop kissing your own children because that's sexual. Morons.

Hopefully they're planning to stop the powerful and influential child kisser Taylor Swift next.

IF Vic is completely wrong, if Vic's Counsel amounts to the Gang Who Couldn't Shoot Straight, and if all the facts are on the defendants' side, why on Earth don't they move to get this into court and in front of a jury as quickly as possible to clear their collective names? Wouldn't that be both the most efficient use of everyone's time and the least expensive outcome?

You can't say that you were doxed when you made absolutely no attempt to maintain anonymity with actions like posting your face and your whereabouts in public. I'm not even for the practice, but come on. You can't prosecute that unless you can also demonstrate that you're harassing you with the info they gathered, and they won't, because unlike you and the people you associate with, they're not concerned with ruining your livelihood-- either because they think it's heinous, or because it would cut short the laughs they can get from your antics.

It's usually both, tending towards the latter.
