Maybe I missed something on this, but my understanding was that the tweets were deleted recently (today/yesterday) and given that the depositions happened a few weeks ago Ron could have been telling the truth at the time and only have deleted some tweets afterwards. Apparently someone has said that even if they weren't the ones that were part of the takedown request, they are still tweets related to Vic which may get him into some kind of trouble.
Hopefully it won't be quite as furious tonight given that we're not dealing with Ron and all of the soy-filled stupidity that he brings. Also I think that Lemonhead was in charge of deposing Vic so he was asking the questions, which from the parts of the deposition that were included in the idiotic motion he filed we already know about some of them such as the hour or so spent talking about the GoFundMe account.

I may have skimmed over that bit of this nigh-on 2000 page thread: Were any of those tweets from the preservation notices, that we know of?
Even if not, deleting anything vic-related may not be A Good Look(tm) for Ron. We can all imagine where that interrogation would go (except Ron. HI RON!), and it would end up basically allowing Ty to infer his motives, since he won't/can't provide them.

I think there were a few posts from earlier today (or was it yesterday?) that claimed they were tweets where Ron was potentially extending an olive branch to Vic if he'd apologize, so even if they weren't in the list of defamatory tweets, they'd still be related to Vic and as such preserved.
The bad thing about all of this shit moving so fast is that it's hard to actually keep track of anything.

Yeah unless someone knows more than me (I don't have Twitter/watch Twitter) I don't believe Toye is lying when he says "I don't recall"

1. Was lying under oath and had scrubbed tweets/texts/emails
2. legit is a braindead moron and cannot remember anything relevant in his life
3. hasn't deleted anything and is just a faggot who thinks he's funny when he says he doesn't know.

My take away from the whole thing is that he deleted the tweets after the deposition, so he wouldn't have been lying at the time he made the statement.

I don't think it's that he thinks it's funny, it's that he thinks he can't get charged with defamation if he doesn't remember it. Kind of like throwing a towel over your head with the reasoning that if you can't see your enemies, they can't see you. Which sounds about like his line of thinking, given the performance we saw out of the guy.

Ron is pretty much a perfected SJW, molded by the most estrogen-infused soybeans on planet earth that fuel his automaton circuits. This is a man who is more willing to accept that he is a pedophile on the record (so long as more than 4 people say it's true) rather than admit that it's unfair to lose your job based on anonymous accusations. This is a man who, with no hesitation whatsoever, says he believes literally every single account of sexual abuse on a forum called "Pretty Ugly Little Liars" and that it is literally outside the bounds of physical reality itself that anyone would ever pretend to be someone and make up a fake accusation. A man who literally thinks he's a "sheep-dog" to protect victims, but who couldn't even be bothered to intervene when he witnessed Vic, in his mind, sexually molest a minor in front of hundreds of people.
Getting down to why this is. I think it's pretty obvious (other than he's the fall guy for Monica and Jamie) Ron remembers most of his tweets and was playing the part of the idiot who can't even wipe his own ass because it was part of the strategy to deny Ty as much ammunition as possible to respond to the TCPA notice. Ron's memory seems perfect capable of remembering the narrative he was told to grandstand and insert every opportunity he got (including ignoring Ty's demands for him to shut his mouth).

This is what is so nauseating. The idiot obviously knows everything he answers, but he's playing his games and assuming he's going to win just by denying Ty everything but doesn't realize it's going to bite him in the ass...
What he is essentially doing is circling 'c' on every question of the test and hoping he passes.
I've stated it before, but he'll suggest he has no recollection of tweets that are staring in his face but can recall third-hand accounts of sexual assault. He plays ignorant of how twitter works... till he thinks it's important. (ie: not knowing if Twitter can be used on multiple devices despite claiming he...uses it on multiple devices - then mansplains what a fucking reply is.)

Minor shit-picking, but: I think his version was he'd never witnessed any such thing happen. He had secondhand accounts that he (claims to have) believed.
(Though, it's entirely possible I glazed over several times during the deposition.)

I'm not a lawyer, but in my life I've watched or read a couple dozen depositions. Toye's has got to be my favorite so far. He's arrogant and malicious, as well as being an outright liar. His affect is so off that it's downright skin-crawlingly uncomfortable to watch. Simply put, Toye lies, and lies maliciously, about almost every important point in the depo. He is going to be pure poison in front of a jury. God help him if he testifies, but even if he doesn't they're still going to show the depo and when they do, he is done. Don't be shocked if the jury outright laughs at the more absurd parts, like the whole "I'm a sheepdog protecting the weak, just like Chris Kyle!" bit.
I can see now why his legal eagles are trying far-fetched legal maneuvers to throw this suit out. I can definitely see why they're playing games to avoid turning over discovery. Discovery for Toye is going to be, I'll bet, even worse than the depo was. His lawyer should push for a settlement now, because the info that's still going to come out is going to bury Toye in a mountain of shit that no defendant can dig out from. Of course, the lawyer has to follow the client's wishes, so you have to ask yourself: What is the absolute dumbest thing Toye could do? I think it's a combination of pissing off the judge and pushing for a trial, the last two things Toye should want. Way back when Ty first dropped the papers regarding his Tweetstorm on Toye, I said that I'd never seen someone so comprehensively self-detonate their legal case. I had no idea that things would get so much worse.
