Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

Yeah it definitely depends on the type of women. Rabid harpies love weak soyaddled men like Ron because they're easy to control and manipulate, but regular women would be more drawn to the Chad energy radiating Vic who doesn't look like a pedophile. (Allegedly!)
About this, if Vic goes to trial, he wins almost certainly.

Now let me explain why, this may get long so
Here is the thing, I as a hobby like to study things like behavior from both biological and societal points of view.
Vic is charming, to anyone who plays RPGs, he has high charisma, but not only that, he knows how to interact with other people, he knows almost instinctively for what I could see in the deposition how to push the right buttons and how to guide attention.

That was why the opposing old car was so pissed, he lost control of the deposition very quickly and could not take it back, Vic is, as stupid as it may sound, a motherfucking Chad, probably literally considering how long he has been doing what he does.

If the jury knows Vic, they see him and hear his story, that would be it for the Defendants. The guy has a stupidly high amount of charisma, how do I know this, I haven't seen anyone here that hates Vic, read over 200 pages now, and not a single person said they hated Vic, his pants maybe, but not him.

In a site filled with unrepentant assholes, no offense but I at least fit that bill, Vic has not caused anyone to hate him, even the insults aimed his way have been of an amicable tone, like the pants thing, the guy charmed all the people whom had heard his story, Lolyers and Twitter crazy idiots haven't heard his story, they decided they hated Vic and that was that, we investigated, we looked for answers to the questions, and we ended up not hating the guy, not all like him, but no one hates him.

It's a jury's job to hear without prejudice the case in front of them, prejudice is the only thing that has made Vic look bad in the eyes of some. Eliminate the prejudice, and the defense is fucked.

So yeah, that is my analysis, I am not a fan of the guy, hell our outlook of life is opposing in many aspects, he is Christian, I don't practice any religion, he is a Chad I am to lazy to date, he is outgoing, I'm reserved. Even so, I can admit he knows how to move people, which I cannot say of any of the defendants.
/SPOILER]

Also rabid harpies don't love sniveling cucks, they just don't fear them, people like Toye are easy to control, so they are not dangerous, rabid harpies are like that because they can't relinquish control, they live afraid of letting go. They want someone like Vic, they are just to scared to actually try, so they grab the sniveling cucks, forever them for not being what they deserve and hating themselves for not being capable of getting something better.

The interesting thing is on more than one occasion, Vic literally took control of the deposition and fed Lemonhead answers that caused him to ask the exact question he wanted to give him the exact answer he wanted to give. Most specifically, with the anime betrayal lines.

Another amazing example, and especially in contrast to Toye, was when he basically told him he was going to read him his Tweet and then did, and Lemonhead LET him.

He was repeatedly completely in charge of what was going on and Lemonhead often didn't even know it. When Lemons tried to take back control, it was often with impotent sputtering and raspy rage that intimidated nobody. It was all in all a poor performance by Lemon Party.

Exactly, and that was in a deposition, where arguably the deposed person has the lowest amount of resources availablle, now imagine if you put him in front of a jury with all the evidence beside him...

Indeed. In a deposition, you are more or less helpless against the opposing counsel, who can ask more or less anything while you are limited to weak objections to form and similar nonsense and have to answer outside of extremely few exceptions mostly related to privilege.

You can act like a complete asshole and cause a scene and disrupt it or even start a fight and this will end it for then, but the consequences aren't good at all. The Soye Boye and Casey were headed in this direction before what I infer was some kind of beatdown after which they were considerably more timid.

By comparison, at trial, you're more or less giving a scripted performance and know what's going to happen, and even on cross examination, have access to numerous ways to object to what's going on, as well as whatever you say in front of the jury actually being heard by them.

If anything, Vic will do better in that environment as performing in front of a crowd is where he thrives.

Soye Boye is such a pitiable little cave dweller that he couldn't cope with a few people without nearly falling to pieces. Imagine under the piercing glares of a jury box full of people who hate him, which they will.

And then, you have the fact that Vic is even going to open with having been a cop.

Versus some weak chinned soy sucking cuck who looks like he was imported from San Francisco.

I'm honestly wondering if this was the first time Lemonparty had such an active listening and attentive conversation partner in the last decade. Vic is naturally charismatic and has been dealing with ugly anime weirdos, proper autistics and people with disabilities for a long arse time. From all accounts he's always treated them respectfully, much better than what many have been used to and always brighten their day.

Contrast this to the lemonparty and you have a guy who got his arse kicked by a mosquito and is probably seen as a burden from then on. He couldn't walk for a year and for the next decade can't; lift 20 pounds, get up if fallen, stand and likely walk well, breathe or speak normally. I'm willing to bet people avoid him like the plague and spend as little time in his presence as possible. Now in comes Chad Vic and his natural caring self and lemonparty can't handle it. Nick is right they should have gotten a big tittied smokin hot broad instead.

Going to be interesting to see if Vic can continue to smoke this chump for the rest of the deposition. So far it's easy to tell why Ty was giddly at Vic's performance.

And this is the third lawyer they hired almost specifically to deal with deposition. It was one thing to read parts of the deposition and point out where Lemonhead messed up, another to see it in action. This is a disaster for them. I suspect that Monica's deposition will be in the middle between the very unlikable and stupid Ron and the switched on Vic, not terrible, but not the most helpful to her case.

Just a teory here (and probably autistic).
But did you guys paid attention how Lamoine gets angry every time he implied that someone tries to silence "victims", or flat out said Vic is sexual predator during his unicorn speech. In this moments he sound like sjw with believe all whamen mentality.

Do we know if he worked on some type of meetoo case?

Or he tries to get support from meetoo/timesup shit?

Or he tries to make a career/authority/fame riding meetoo wave?

It was screwed the moment they hired a lead actor fresh off a billion dollar movie, David Tennant, and Maisie Williams at the peak of got's ratings and then the show utterly bombed.

I didn't know if it bombed or not. I was kinda off put that "Nomad of Nowhere" seemed to have been cancelled for it. (Seemingly. GenLOCK appeared in the same "slot" that Nomad was in.)

If it bombed then that's a bunch of
Costs that can be cut.

While RT took rwby off YouTube and only their own site to obfuscate viewership, and did the same with gl, the volume 6 opening for rwby got 2 million views, while the gen lock opening has only gotten 500k despite much higher costs, with rwby being voiced by randoms from their offices already on salary and essentially not paid anything extra along with vic, who seems to have been doing his role as more of a passion project than anything. Despite posting the first episode of gen lock to YouTube over 4 months ago, it only just recently passed 300k views.

Does Sabat's role at Funimation (I believe he has more responsibility than just performing as a voice actor) make the case for bringing them into this lawsuit more compelling? If there is evidence of his involvement with interference in Vic's KC contract or someone from the convention who would provide testimony to that effect, I'm not sure how they get off the hook at all.

Some people were criticizing Lemonhead for essentially teeing Vic up to provide some of that damning testimony, but he's not the lawyer for Funimation, and it's in Ron and Monica's best interest if they stay in the case and are forced to share in any damages that might be awarded to Vic should his case succeed.

It will be interesting to see how truly malicious all of these vipers who defamed and attacked Vic become once they really start to turn on each other.

And then, you have the fact that Vic is even going to open with having been a cop.

Tbh barring some surprise witness/evidence of hidden webcam footage of Vic's rape dungeon I think that won it for him right there. Conservative parts of Texas are BlueLivesMatter territory.

I'm no lawyer or expert in litigation but from what I've seen it's constructing a narrative. He has to present himself, to the jury, as a defender of women, and present Vic as a predator.

He does a lot of voice direction as well. He's basically in charge of Dragon Ball dubbing across the company and owns the studio used in Funimation dubbing. He has way more pull and responsibilities than his own dubbing. There's a lot of behind the scenes videos for the Battle of the Gods movie that shows Sabat was more or less in charge of the entire process.

It would take a fair amount of effort to fake a Content ID hit. The check for that is actually done through Google itself through a set of registered works. So someone would have had to find something in the stream, submit something that would trigger it into the database, and actually do this some time while the stream was occurring.

Otherwise it's a shit system and gets false positives all the time, and on a false hit, either immediately takes down your content or alternately, outright fucking steals your money and gives it to the Content ID piece of shit thief.
Yeah, if Nick had said this was a DMCA hit I would be more likely to shit on Sony, but to my understanding Content ID is exclusively run by robots. Not to say that some assholes don't set up robots to Content ID material that isn't theirs, but still pretty much automated

It's really hard to gauge how well Genlock's actually doing thanks to RT's site not tracking views, but based on what they're saying at RTX (the show's going to Adult Swim, Blu Ray's out for October and Season 2 is happening "when it's ready") it did at least well enough that a prospective second season hasn't been cancelled yet.

I've got a slightly different read of the situation, given rt is owned mostly by at&t iirc, I think they're trying to salvage as much as they can from what was likely a costly blunder before trying to write it off on their taxes, like nick did with korra.

So Soye is the most pathetic squirrel Moronica could find and at least one of their lawyers sound more like Darth Vader than Darth Vader himself. I'm sure a jury of average people will not think of them as cartoon villains, it's cool.

There wasn't other than his own outro music, which was after the claim, I believe. He played the first part in the middle of the stream while out of the room and I forget whether that was before or after.
To clarify Nick went to the bathroom so e played his outro, after coming back he had a claim to his video.
The real question would be if other video's had claims on them for the same outro music or not. If it was a live stream and not his prior video's it really begs the question, what made the live stream different than an already existing video?

I think the claim came before the bathroom break.

Plus, Darth Vader Man is big, bald, and white. He coukd be the villain to a Disney movie.
