You cannot out Ron in front of a jury, can't be done. He is hostile, unlikeable, smug, arrogant, and full of soy. If you showed the jury in Texas a picture of Vic and a picture of Ron, they would light Ron on fire.

Seriously though, playing 15 min of his depo and comparing it to Vic is all it would take to win.
The fifth won't save him in a civil trial. (Unless something could lead to a criminal charge).

If Ron refuses to answer, that would be contempt of court. And even if it's not, the jury could be directed to draw a negative inference

Ty: My Toye, what did you mean when hundreds of women would come forward?
Toye: ...
Ty: Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I would direct you to assume that Mr. Toye's silence means that he is a sniveling lying bitch boy who owes Mr. Mignogna his share of 5 million dollars.

It was definitely nine. Someone theorized that it was Luci Christian, but if that's true then I fully expect a recast for the dub of S2 DanMachi.
While true, there's also a theory that whoever "XXXX" was never even said anything, and someone else was secondhand offended for them.

It still wouldn't save him, because while you can take the Fifth in a civil trial, to avoid criminal prosecution, the jury is allowed to draw an inference from that, unlike in a criminal case.

I.e. you can use it and not be forced to testify on that issue, but the jury can be told they can assume that the reason you didn't testify is that your testimony, if you gave it, would indeed be evidence that you committed a crime. What that crime is would be up to the jury to infer.

So is Chuck Huber recieving any backlash yet? And how is Kickvic reacting to the depos?

Due to the awesomeness that Nick's show has been this week, my time after work has been devoted to watching the depos and keeping up with the thread.

Not sure about Chuck, but some people on Twitter have been screeching at Nick that he isn't allowed to show the depos, for evident reasons. LawTwitter thinks Nick showing the depositions hurts Vic's case and makes the argument to get Nick deposed stronger, also for evident reasons.

They keep changing their stories.

The only valid reason to get Nick deposed would be in the event that a TCPA is won against the Plaintiff's case. Then they can try and leverage Nick's actions to drive up sanctions.

If the TCPA fails, there is literally no point to deposing Nick, other than them just trying to literally do what they're filing a TCPA for - silencing free speech.

Law Twitter can keep saying over and over that showing the depos hurt Vic, but in reality, it only hurts the dissenting opinion against Vic. Literally everyone who's not a twitter lawyer can see it, and at the end of this - if it does end up in trial and in front of a jury, it won't be law twitter deciding it, it'll be regular people.

He doesn't do much dubbing nowadays so it's difficult to say. Funimation can't exactly touch him at this moment, less they loan any more credibility to the accusations against them.

Luci Christian is arguably the safest VA in all of Texas at this point. She's a better actress than everyone whose been doxxed combined and she's done more work for funi than most it's managing staff. If she wanted someone gone it wouldn't be difficult, she's too valuable.

I wonder about this too and find it extremely odd Nick hasn't commented on it even when in one of the tapes they literally start the deposition by agreeing these are not to be shown to anyone unless all parties have agreed to it. I seriously doubt MoRon's defense team has agreed to the video recordings being shown on Nick's stream too!

My guess is that since another lawyer made almost half of Vic's transcript available through a motion that was filed, Ty just took that to mean that the agreement was voided at this point. Have I missed something about this?

Bwahahahaha! Evidence Reasons? These idiots not simply requested, but Fucking Demanded the Depositions be released publicly in their entirety, to the Judge. Not only can they not complain about Nick. They probably don’t have any avenues of appeal because Casey got backed into a corner and argued openly that they, the defense, would not tolerate any confidentiality agreements. The Plaintiff’s lawyers told them exactly what they were demanding, the Judge told them what they were demanding, even the evil blackface lawyer told them how stupid this was. They did it anyway.

These fucking idiots still trying to play the "gotcha" card with a single Line in the complaint. God these fucking people are insufferable.

It isn't even in the complaint. It's from an extremely voluminous letter sent to the defendants before the complaint was filed concerning literally hundreds of other statements.

Was just rewatching the part where Lemwaaah was reading names.

Tammi Denbow - Sony HR person; Vic didn't know her.
Chuck Huber - VA who Vic considers a friend, and is an actual friend by all appearances.
Chris Slatosch - KamehaCon head.
Michelle McConnell Blankenship - Vic doesn't know her. She's the one who accused Vic of harrassing her back when she was in highschool.

Whitny Robinson Falba - Vic doesn't know her.
Greg Ayes - Gay VA who doesn't like Vic because gay.

Chris Sabat - VA who Vic identifies as a motherfucking liar
Faisal Ahmed - Vic IDs him as a con worker (thanks @Animegate19 for spelling)

The only thing that comes to lie was PenguinLies trying to call him out. Chuck probably had more important things to do than acknowledge him, like watching the paint dry.

As far as I can tell, that agreement was about the actual livestream itself (the cuck conference call) and not the recording of the deposition.

I'm not seeing anything against Huber, but there's some backlash against Sabat. Just archiving some, but there are more if you search his name.

It's kind of hard to take threats to your career seriously when it sounds like it's coming from a 12 year old.

Just a few notes on this:

I'm pretty sure Jim McGogal is Jamie McGonnigal mispronounced poorly.

Greg Ayres is a voice actor, his older brother Chris is the 2nd voice of Freeza (He briefly took a break from the role because of health reasons and Daman Mills basically took over as an understudy to my understanding). He was also a director at Sentai Filmworks directing dubs in Houston.

Jerry Jewell happens to be a voice director at Funimation and is very close friends with Justin Cook, who is basically Head of Production at Funimation. Cook is usually credited in Funimation dubs as a Producer though he has worked as a voice actor in the past.

Donald Shults is a voice director/engineer at Okratron 5000 (Chris Sabat's studio) : http://archive.fo/1Ypb2
