She's trying to get Carey on her side with the whole "hey, we girls gotta stick together, i'm making this easy for you so be nice to me because we can share a giggle?" It's fake as shit, any chick who's watching will know what she's doing immediately, and just as quickly want to trip her up, figuratively and literally if at all possible.

Nobody's being fooled. I'm sure Monica watched Nick's stream with the Amazons on, and has heard their opinion of her behavior. Carey's been seeing way too much of Monica as she's been working.
