My point being, how much should we trust Dylan at this point?
He clearly is willing to lie for his Waifu.
I haven't trusted him since that video he made, where he spends the whole time feeling smug about the whole situation. That doesn't mean it is entirely his fault, he has been groomed by an unfeeling attention-whore furfag. This indoctrination is what makes him unreliable, especially because in his mind he can still win out - she has put him in a situation where he is the exciting "Don Juan" to Tyler's proposal of mundane married life.
There are very few people in this whole thing we can actually trust. Asterios is out to protect himself, Liu is a fucking monster, Dylan is a child who wants to win, MeatMan and CreamMan are your classic attention-seeking trolls, Assburger and Chainsaw Jackie have issues they're ignoring by attacking Mumkey - which leaves who? Dick is clearly not in the interior circle of all of this, he's as much an outsider as we are (just one who knew Tyler before all this shit). Sheepover has been bullied away, but even if she hadn't she is the ex and not privy to certain information (or even from wanting revenge of some kind). Patchy has kept himself away as a way to try and force change, but even if he hadn't I get the feeling he is kind of a useless idiot. Erich's relationship with Mumkey is professional mostly, probably hasn't heard from him since all this started.
So we're forced to rely on information "accidentally" leaked during Discord conversations. Until we get something from the Mumkey's mouth we can't trust anything. That is unless people produce evidence along with their claims, and there has been very little of that during this whole debacle.
tl;dr Trust no-one, don't believe his/her/zer lies.
EDIT:
@Thirteenfifty points out Bedhead Bernie - he does seem to have an axe to grind but is probably our best bet at getting real, truthful insight. He is Mumkey's friend, helps with editing, but has his own YouTube channel and career to worry about, so the only benefit I can see him gaining is to try and help a friend (even if that help is in posting how much of a shit that friend is being). Maybe someone knows his character better than me though, only recently started watching his videos and had only heard of him tangentially before then.
