Robyn Brown (better known as LifeUndiagnosed and HybermobileGeek) is a Munchie case that was once described by a lolcow.farm anon as "Kadeelyn on Steroids". She is a British woman who has been blogging about her supposed illnesses for years upon years, and frequently hops to a new alias once people catch on to her fakery and she loses her sweet asspats. She is likely to deserve her own spinoff thread in the near future.

Is Robyn still around? I thought she got married and swore off the munchie-ing or something. Or at least went dark. I haven't heard anything from or about her in years. She was my Munchie Queen; if she is still around I would love to know more.

Thoughts on this family?

Attaching some of the posts that I felt were off-kilter. Are the diagnoses she is talking about actual conditions that the children likely have? They’ve been surviving off donations from other people for awhile. If you look at the fb page there are videos of the kids experiencing the tics/spells she talks about.

ETA. she's having spontaneous episodes of purging severe emesis right now! while she just so happens to have the camera propped up. If you pay attention you can see the cuts where she edits out her finger in her throat, but she missed one!

the first screenshot was a wall of text saying they arent faking because DEACONS and PHARMACY and OFFICE WORKERS follow them so they are absolutely are legit followed up with a post trying to rationalize why multiple professionals would agree separately that the issues may not be what she is making them out to be. doesnt help that her kid has a 'new baseline' and she is overly concerned about doctors thinking she is faking or getting information false. one would think that it would be awesome news that there isnt a major problem and that minor changes are all that are needed but nah, surgeries and tubes and scans oh my!

Also concerning that blood pressure reading, so many munchies post perfectly acceptable or just barely out of regular range vitals. It amazes me, it takes all of ten seconds to google what an actually alarming bp reading would be.

I found a chronically ill person just randomly on YT the other day and I was struck by how normal she is. She's got this cute little 40's aesthetic and even though you'll see her occasionally with a brace or crutches or a wheelchair, she doesn't make her whole thing about that. She doesn't really like bringing attention to it. She has several diagnoses that she was gifted with by heredity, but you rarely ever see her looking ill. I believe she has HNPP, MCTD, CFS, and POTS. The only reason I really believe her is that she is partially deaf and I think blind in one eye or something like that. She talks about her illnesses, but never in a woe is me sort of way, but in a more educational kind of way. She never e-whores for money from what I can tell. She's married to a woman who seems very nice who works in the medical field. She's always put together and prepared for any problem without it looking like she's taken the entire damned hospital with her. She just seems like a nice, normal person who's getting on with it.

Let me know if any of you have heard of her and let me know if I'm missing something. I think at this point that if you're going to have a channel about being chronically ill then this is how you do it. Her name is

I think I find that the most fascinating thing about her. She has worked hard to make sure she speaks clearly. These munchies would be over the moon if they could actually sound disabled and here's a woman who is deliberately trying no to. She lip reads very well. Exactly. It just seems like a lot of defending and ambiguity...? The mom’s posts are a piece of work if you read through the family’s page. I suspect they’re seeing “doctors” instead of DOCTORS at this point. There’s so much going on.

It’s almost like real sick and disabled people just want to get on with their lives instead of being a spectacle.

I recently had a conversation with someone who is getting AFOs and restructuring her whole wardrobe so that they aren’t the first thing you see when you look at her (replacing skirts and shorts with maxis and pants). we were joking about Jaquie’s outfit at that wedding she went to, where she changed from normal shoes to her giant tennis shoes and AFOs before the event. On the same note someone who needs a wheelchair might pay extra for one where the leg area/foot plates taper in to match the curves of their legs and draw attention to their natural forms and not the chair. That’s the difference between people who are actually in need of these devices but don’t want “sick” to be their identity and the people we mock. I mean obviously not everyone has the luxury of totally hiding it but they don’t structure their lives to emphasize them either.
