Oh holy shit. When I went to bed I had only heard 2 people died. I thought the rest just had burns or some shit. That fucking sucks. Makes way more sense now that it shot up so fast.

According to KIA, KyoAni's management had locked the emergency exit to the roof. Almost all the dead people died trying to force the door open to escape, in the stairwell, their bodies piled on top of each other. They couldn't go down due to the fire.

I don't think this is all of KyoAni, though. I think this was Studio 1, with their management and other staff elsewhere. I don't know the logistics of how their studios were set up, but I heard "Studio 5" mentioned in one of the press releases, so...

It was a bottle of petrol (gasoline). IIRC, if Gas is allowed to become a, well, gas the fumes can and will explode, violently, if exposed to a flame.

I would think he has lived this way for so long that he may have convinced himself that he does not need to come out. In my youth hiding in the closet till the end of days was the option I considered the most likely "solution" for myself.

Vic reminds me of a lot of my brother and two of my friends who are very straight. Vic didn’t have a father in his life. His mom was his sole parental guidance if memory serves me.

My little brother was practically raised by his three sisters. Same with my two friends who also didn’t have a father figure in their life and were pretty much raised by women. They’re all very soft-spoken, a bit eccentric, quite metrosexual, flare for drama, but despite this they’re always surrounded by women because they understand women best because that’s who practically raised them.

They know how to be around girls and talk to them. They’re more gentle and quirky because of the females that are in their lives that have influenced them.

They have been mistaken for gay because they’re a little weird and soft-spoken (and also understand current fashion trends better than most guys BECAUSE of the women who raised them) but I can assure you they most definitely are not.

I think you’re reading a little bit too much into Vic.

I have a pretty good gaydar because of all the gay people who have been around in my life and Vic has not once set it off.

I did mention this in Nick thread, but I think I should clarify it a bit so people don't think I'm being flippant:

I think Vic is closeted homosexual suffering from Christian guilt that drives him to be as straight as possible by having sex with many women. His obsession with women's hair, his mannerisms, his rumored angry reactions to signing yaoi, my GayDar that has been telling me "That guy sucks dick" from the very first time I saw him.

I'm a queer man who lives in a very Christian conservative area. It's from this experience where my hunch comes from, but what gave me this autistic boost to speculate this further was when someone suggested to me that Vic's prostitute might not have been female.

Or maybe I am just very wrong and Vic is just a plain weirdo.

One where she can't even come out and say that Vic raped her and outright has her saying she "went along with it"-- an incident that Vic can't even attest to, mind you.

What else did she plagiarize in order to construct her own story, I wonder.

Vic has always been this way. He was the same earnest, sweet man who would go out of his way to help you all the way back in the nineties when he was a worship leader in HTX. There are a lot of men like him in the Christian faith. Personally, I do not believe he is gay, but I could see how this would be the vibe people would get from him. With the refusal to sign fujoshit and talk of how his characters aren't gay, it doesn't add up. Additionally, it wouldn't matter one bit. If anything, they could stop saying he was a homophobe.

One possibility you didn't consider is Vics industry, actors/etc have a high proportion of gay people (higher than a random sampling of population anyway) for whatever reason. Actors are weird and want to fit in with their peer group so often take on mannerisms that are around them.

It's possible it's just an affected personality to fit more 'in' with his peers.

There's a certain strain of open emotionalism that's prevalent in the evangelical world that has a lot of overlap with the weird hippie commune bullshit. I think he's just a gentle person, and in our culture it's weird to see a soft-spoken, joyful, affectionate man who slays puss on the reg. We always want to think that because he's not stereotypically stoic and reserved, he must be gay or bi or in some other way non-conforming, when really he's just an alpha stud secure in his own identity.

SJW culture has also not helped those people. Lots of gays and lesbian are told that they must be trannies because they "act" like a girl or boy and gets pushed this idea to change sex instead of just being homosexual/lesbian fucking up the rest of their lives in the process.

Mermaids UK is literally doing that to children. Parents would rather have a Trans daughter than a Gay son, or in the case of Mermaids UK, they'd rather have a Trans CLASSMATE than a Gay CLASSMATE, since Mermaids UK was the group that said they could identify "Chronic" gender dysphoria in a 2 hour long therapy session and get kids on permanently sterilizing puberty blocker medication that very day, and do all this without involving the parents at all, and if the parents complain, well, that's a hate crime and they'll push to have the kids taken away from the parents.

I've had my suspicions when I first saw Vic many years ago and now after seeing this video and watching his reaction to the accusations of him being homophobic during his deposition it seems like a subject that very much strikes a nerve. He went out of his way during his depo to state he was not homophobic and why. He gets passionate and heated like seen in the video.
