I thought they were asking "How did Nick get the videos if there was this agreement in place?"
I THINK it's because Nick has the actual videos of the deposition, not a recording of the live stream and is not distributing the live stream itself.

It's legal hair splitting, but I think Ty likely gave all of the deposition to Nick after lemoine released his edited (without both parties consent) transcript with highlighting. Something along the lines of 'if you want to play this game I'll just show the whole damn thing'.

exactly, what would've been illegal is if ty shared the live feed link with nick and nick watched along with jamie and monica

That's actually in line with Ty's character. He has repeatedly said that he will give opposing counsel the same courtesy they give him (golden rule), and opposing counsel have been giving him ample reason for him to say "fuck you."

It's part of what factors into my beliefs, knowing that about Ty, the fact he wargames everything out, the fact that opposing counsel has treated Vic poorly and continues to play legal games to continue defamation, etc etc.

pretty much, and he's also making them play by the rules that they themselves set like making everything public

Can someone please explain this to me? I'm lost. I'm pretty sure Nick's done nothing wrong, but what's this about?

Basically the live stream that the non-present parties were watching is separate from the videos we've seen, they aren't a recording of that live stream which is what this agreement pertains to. May seem like hair splitting, using a loophole like that, but considering lemoine's slimy transcript insertion on that special exception motion, I'd say fair's fair.

Edit: Man I really gotta refresh more often, cougar'd 10 minutes ago? Wow dude.

It surprises me that the defense counsel didn't extend the agreement to include the depo recordings themselves. They had to have known that Nick would show them (and make money out of laughing at the defendants).
Correction - it would surprise me if the defense attorneys were literally anyone but this collection of speds.

I'm pretty sure the reason for the legal hairsplitting on "recording of livestream" vs "video of the deposition" is a recording of the livestream would not be redacted, whereas the videographer recorded and edited final product isn't violating any confidentiality agreements.

Someone stop me if I'm straying.

You probably found yourself in the Threadnaught.

Remember when cliques of idiots with remarkably stupid opinions would just create a subplebbit like normal people, instead of forming semi-feral mobs of retards and gang-banging innocent passers-by on global networks like Twitter?

That is actually a reasonable distinction that would work in Ty's favor if any of the defense counsel were to raise a stink over Nick's streams.

For the people misunderstanding the livestream depo agreement.

Vic depo included Lawyers of all 4 defendent. Moron and Marchie were also viewing the depo live through a livestream. Why? Because they are too cowardly to sit in a room with Vic and Nick has also mentionned that Moronica duo were also texting Jsean "Fuhrer" Lemoine question to ask vic like gossiping little bitches.

What nick showed us is the actual depo recording which is public. The agreement pertained only to the livestream setup for the defendent.

it plays into what I think is one of BHBH's strategy which is to divide the defendant's attention. I doubt that they will take ty's bait this time though, they already got baited into trying to depose nick; FOR SUUUURE they won't get baited into a hearing about a goddamn deposition footage.

but they're idiots so who knows

to add: this potentially means that not only does ty want to win, he wants to win with as much damage to the defendant's finances as possible

It is my understanding that transcripts of depositions (appropriately redacted) are what is usually made public. Video recordings usually aren't.
Or am I mistaken?

i mgiht be wrong as well on it being public (there might still be no agreement to keep it confidential which would be how Nick was allowed to show it). Anyway we havent seen the whole 6+ hours of vic depo. Some part were obviously redacted and they muted the names of the twin and women involved in the kiss at funi.

Anyway the agreement posted pertains only to the livestream broadcasted for the defendent.

it's legal as long as there's no agreement otherwise, but it's very very uncommon to have a video public because normally(as in standard operating procedure) the parties agree to keep things private during this time.

edit: also, nick is shielding himself as a journalist, as long as he doesn't disclose his source, he should be fine.
