I hope you’re right. I used to love a lot of Funimation dubs, so finding out a lot of these actors are a bunch of harpies and pricks has been disappointing. It’d be nice to hear if Greg didn’t let his distaste for Vic stop him from standing up for due process.

You're coming at this from the wrong angle.

Vic was asked if they were trustworthy because they've probably got affidavits, e-mails or other documents from these people. For example, Chuck Huber wrote that statement where Vic was to have admitted that he was a sex addict. If Vic says that Chuck Huber is trustworthy, then his statement holds more weight.

Will confirm that I received three GFM refunds. Not sure from when. If I donate, it's once a day
 
Payments sperging:

Online payment systems will have basic fraud detection but large platforms like GFM will likely have additional, customized monitors that look for aberrant behavior. Credit cards are generally very sensitive because of how many people have had their info stolen. Any sort of behavior outside of the normal GFM user flow could have a fraud engine look deeper into it. One of the easiest things to look out for is when a user pays with multiple names. Fraud detection won't appreciate memes so if you want to meme, at least wait a while in between.

Further, any tools for privacy like VPNs, dns encryption, blocking javascript, etc, also tend to tip off people who are paying attention. Any company who takes payments at scale will be very aggressive in order to avoid a lawsuit. There is a lot of legal and regulatory risk with seeing potentially fraudulent behavior and doing nothing VS the risk of making some users mad that you refunded their payments.

I find it hilarious that apparently, we are donating so frequently that we're setting off spam checkers. Some self control is needed, but the picture of rieketa calling a plumber because the money pipe to vic got clogged with donations is stuck in my head now.
