I'm most likely going to purchase pokemon since I've been playing it since gen 1. I'm willing to give them a playthrough, but unfortunately with sun/moon and the let's go series it was too painful to start them due to the whole hand holding aspect of the games.

Shrimpy only wants to get it, especially the shield version, so that he can shrimp off to the new uwu shy boi gym leader. He really shouldn't be calling himself a gamer. The main reason he plays anything is for shrimping material. If he does play something for other reasons, he fails miserably at it and ruins it for others if it's multi-player.

So how is this still going when from what I get the thread died for like a year before this guy came here to flip shit over it?
(Also is there a summary of what happened from mid 2017 to now I don't think I can read over 200 pages of this stuff, I got to like page 7 before skipping here)

There were only a few posts making fun of him and everyone had forgotten he existed until he signed up to bitch at us about how awful we are. The Streisand effect kicked in mightily after that, and he continues to be a massive fucking idiot to this day on social media, which is what keeps it going.

Mr. Popo is based on a motherfucking genie. It's only America that got their panties in a twist because, surprise, caricatures is kind of Toriyama's fucking style. Popo is by no means the only one, just the one America lost their fucking mind over. (Commander Black comes to mind, and if I remember right, Chi-Chi and Frieza also represent different types of people as well. It's not just Popo.)

Now he mostly only have his younger brother work for him.

LimpBlobShrimp is way too stupid as per usual and doesn't even know Toriyama took cues, references and liberties from the Chinese epic known as Journey to the West in the making of Dragon Ball. Last time anyone checked Journey to the West, there were a number of mythological characters in the novel, from demons, poltergeists, celestial beings, talking animals, djinns, etc.

He probably believes Chi-Chi has some stay-at-home housewife syndrome when she represents the archtype of the super strict, but doting Tiger Mom who wants her kid to go to invest in education. Likewise, with Frieza, he's really a flamboyant narcissistic eccentric tyrant with genocidal tendencies and a Napoleon complex, not some twisted viewed of how BlobFishShrimp perceives a gay guy to be.
