Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

No, screw that. If she actually knew what she was getting herself into, when the accusations levied involved everything up to rape, she can eat dirt. If he cheated on her, then he should be called out as an adulterer-- that's it. She said that this was just everything blowing up in his face, but in no way does that mean she should have been involved with that explosion.

And it doesn't seem like she thinks that he was diddling kids, either, from her email.
Calm down, I'm not saying she's in the right, just that I can't really be upset at her for it. She's the only person in this entire mess with a legitimate reason to be mad at him.

I agree she has a reason to be upset with him for his cheating but that doesn't give her the right to destroy his life and join in on witch hunt trying to paint him as a rapist.

I pointed this out in another thread, but the characterization of Ms, Iijima in these affidavits is a bit weird. They imply “omg Vic was stalking a visiting foreign Japanese VA!” Iijima moved to the US many many years before these cons. She was and is an LA resident. She did both the original Japanese Macross voice acting, and returned to the same role in the ADV English dub alongside Vic. She also recorded the full series dvd commentaries side by side with Vic in studio. She’s fluent in English to a degree that her Japanese fans complain her Japanese singing and voice work has an American accent. She’s around the same age as Vic. She’s a fairly unremarkable looking small framed middle aged Asian woman.

Has she made any public statements on her recollections of these "stalkings"? She was mentioned early and often and I can't recall hearing that she's said anything about it.

That picture and that part of the article was debunked by the very person in the picture of the article itself.
Has the girl on the first page come out publicly one way or the other?
I'm not sure if the girl shown has come out one way or another. Another girl with red hair/wig did and was later edited out of the piece (Casey J Harwood).

It appears to me that they are creating tons of fact disputes. At least in the area that I'm familiar with, getting judgments as a matter of law involves pointing out the complaint is LEGALLY deficiency and amending it further would be futile. Beyond the unprofessional and bombastic rhetoric (which most judges hate by the way), this seems like a war over facts, a matter only a jury can weigh and resolve.

They are also focusing on things they're completely assblasted about but that have zero to do with the sufficiency of the complaint. There is nothing about Nick Rekieta in the complaint and he could be the shittiest, most awful man in the world and it has zero to do with the merits of the case.

It makes as much sense as if Gawker had filed something calling Peter Thiel a gigantic faggot in a motion trying to get Hulk Hogan's case dismissed. Who cares? Who gives a fuck? What does this have to do with the case? Literally nothing.

So I’m not imagining it, there really is nothing in this steaming 500 page pile that attacks the causes of action, the sufficiency of those causes of action, or even seemingly admits that the moving parties are the defendants in this matter?

It was made with the sole intention to further defame Vic. At this point this is their hail mary play.

the only thing here that attacks that is trying to argue vic is a public figure

imagine if they fucked that up

"Maybe if we keep dragging his ass he'll kill himself, but if he doesn't maybe we'll get Salon or HuffPo's attention and make him completely unemployable for the rest of his life." - MoRonica, probably.

And just think. This was just the first of many men in the industry they had on that hit list.

It's kinda scary thinking about how many they could have fucked over if they didn't start with Vic. Glad they picked their worst target first.

Could I get a link to that? I know about the red haired girl and a girl in a video but I cant find that one.
I didn't see anybody properly answer this. Pretty sure she is KV and the "J" talked about in the ANN article. Her quote used to be by the picture of the redhead girl. Then ANN changed it.

Judge Chupp seems to be pretty energetic about staying on top of his docket. I anticipate it will be sooner than that.

Yeah, I can't see him wanting the various TCPAs dragging this out for the rest of the year.

Emmett Plant and Deshynn(not sure without going back in which I'm notdoing?) Eerily similar, and signed on the same day, almost as if they colluded on what to say on the way to do them.
