Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

Judge Chupp seems to be pretty energetic about staying on top of his docket. I anticipate it will be sooner than that.
Is this second hand from Ty or are there other sources to confirm the Judge's ongoing thoughts on this? Cause it would be fun to hear Chupp's take on all this.

I didn't see anybody properly answer this. Pretty sure she is KV and the "J" talked about in the ANN article. Her quote used to be by the picture of the redhead girl. Then ANN changed it.
Casey J hardwood was the redhead girls name that came out against ANN, I believe she is the same J in both pictures that were blurred out

I know he scheduled a hearing on some pedestrian discovery dispute nearly instantly. I was impressed by that at the time.

There's a transcript of hearing(s?) where we get to hear from Chupp. Seems like a pretty no nonsense, lets get down to business sort of guy.

So there's a good chance this case isn't going to get dragged on then? It would be nice for Chupp to get things done in a good time frame since if you read the tweets it's heavily implied the defense wants a long, dirty court battle.

Yeah I skimmed it. I imagine once there's sufficient proof of defamation we'll get a quick judgement and a small time window for the defense to argue, if they're lucky. They've already been a pretty disrespectful in this situation so it wouldn't surprise me if Chupp just tells them to get fucked.

Through the Judge's own words, he proclaims he has a great work ethic.

She's not the girl in the TCPA though. Look at the "new" ANN (post Feb 4) article again, they have this chick next to the quotes from "J" and "J" says something about Vic putting his hand under her open zipup hoodie which this girl is wearing in the pictures.

In the original Jan 30 version it had Casey. Though it's tough to tell because the archive didn't save the pictures. You have to kind of infer it from ANN's update added to the bottom of the page Feb 4. This is why Casey complained and why it was removed. "J" however, did not.

He's generally scheduled stuff quickly and he made sure the depos were in the court so he'd be available to rule on stuff immediately. That speaks to someone who doesn't like unnecessary delays in their court.

And do they have her first hand account as a sworn statement? Nope, that and Casey Js account is enough to discredit this evidence as a fabricated hit piece click article, AND the ties to the defendants civil conspiracy. It’s a strikeable article.

I imagine we'll have to wait the full 90 days for this one. Hell probably be able to read through it by then.
Not so sure on that one. Funimation filed their TCPA on July 1st, and the hearing is scheduled on August 8, 38 days later. Assuming Chupp takes the maximum 30 days to rule on it, we're looking at a max of 68 days for Funimation.

I'm going to assume that, to save time, money, and his sanity, Chupp will schedule the other TCPA hearings on or around August 8th.

It's a joke

I wonder if Judge Chupp will schedule all the TCPA claims for the same date. I hope so. I don't think Ty would mind at all seeing this thing rushed along.
I don't think anyone would mind a bit. More lolz and schadenfreude for us, faster justice for Vic.

Also, I remember that the hearing was scehduled for 1:30PM. I'm assuming it's done late so they have plenty of overtime?

So PULL linked to Chuck Huber's proposed statement.
