Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

You ever seen a nice Italian grandma / grandpa kiss a kid on the cheek when they see them?

That's literally rape according to the Kickvic idiots. And yes, Vic is Italian.
Someone nailed it the other day here when they pointed out that they want human contact banned. Sure on it's face it sounds absurd, however thats exactly what the "consent at every step, and "creepy kissing kids" thing ends with logically.

And in reality, it's just another way to drive wedges into family units and exert control through the force of law. Standard Marxist tactics toward achieving standard Marxist goals, but instead of ANTIFA style revolutions, it happens via the courts, congress and of course, the court of public opinion. One small thing after another until the 'personal space' becomes a prison.

#KickVic wants to know if, 2034 pages in, we have realized/decided how/if Vic will/has already lost the case. Let me know so I can report back to them, thanks.

OH yea I am coming up with a handy copy pasta that can be used every time Vic loses the case. Feel free to reuse it accordingly.

Kick Vic has won. [INSERT EVENT HERE] will surely do Vic in and Ty will lose the case again, for the last time.

This [INSERT EVENT HERE] is so bad for Vic that they will turn it into a criminal trial and Judge Chupp will find Vic guilty and sentence him to death. A portable electric chair will be wheeled out and Vic will be executed immediately. The everyone in the courtroom will clap. Ty and everyone at his firm will be disbarred and they will be sentenced to jail for defending Vic and not believing waman.

She knew I was helping keep him sane at this point and hoped to scare me off? COMPLETE speculation on my part, of course. She did not see the need to include my reply to her. That was interesting.
Are you willing to share your reply to her? Seems like they want to pick and choose which bits of dirty laundry to air to control any sort of narrative, keeping the record straight drives them insane.

This is why, much it sounds like tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist pessimism, I'm rather afraid of how much precedent can be set by this case. I'm not kidding when I say I genuinely believe Vic's win might be more important than just anime stuff.

It still amazes me tht we are this far into this lawsuit and the defendants STILL haven't produced even one story that isn't either second/third/fourth hand stories or from someone with a personal axe to grind. I mean....there are supposedly hundreds of victims right? The fact that they can't says a lot. Like that they are simply making shit up.

It includes personal stuff of hers that I'd rather not share (until recently, she and I were also friends). If my stuff gets subpoenad for discovery, I imagine it will be included. I will, however, share my final thoughts from my reply to her:

"It's NOT ok for the masses (including [alleged] victims) to appoint themselves judge, jury and executioner of anyone under any circumstances, IMO. Feeling justified and being justified are not always the same thing."

@Svetlana would you mind answering a simple question about Michele? I understand if you don't want to. Do you consider her to be a truthful person?
I agree completely with Vic's deposition answer to this question

disagree. we have no way of knowing any details about their relationship, except an angry and emotional rant letter from her, and trying to infer anything from that using armchair internet psychology is questionable to say the least.
blaming her because "She accepts no responsibility for her part in the failure of the relationship" is not right. i have a hard time ascribing any responsibility for that to her when in fact vic is the one with an admitted and well documented history of repeatedly cheating on her behind her back.

you can rip on her for being a vengeful harpy who is trying to ruin vic for cheating on her, that's fine, but blaming her for the failure of their relationship is simply not right when vic was the one who ruined it by fucking around on her with random con sluts.

Should be noted though, if you are looking for charachter witness, an ex-girlfriend is the absolute worst. She has every motivation to slag her Ex, and that letter offers nothing but an emotional rant. It's obviously biased, addresses nothing of substance to the facts at hand and is highly prejudicial. I expect Ty to try and strike it like Zeus with a thunderbolt.

And yet they seem to think it's gold dust, the height of their evidence. The one person who everyone would expect to have a serious bone to pick is one of their top witnesses.

That fair enough, can I ask what happened when it came to Kara Edward's potential involvement with STC? The 2 rumours that are floating around are that Vic originally cast her and then changed his mind to spite her due to her rebuffing his advances and the other is that Michelle kicked up a stink about her being involved.

The mental image of Ty as Zeus puts a wide grin on my face.

Hopefully everything that Mr. Ahmed swore to in his affidavit was true, because Faisal seems to have a history of filing false reports.

Cutting out the bullshittery and summarizing his affidavit for future reference:

1. Seven years ago, he saw a costhot have an interaction with Vic that he characterizes as being uncomfortable. Throws Sarah Sullivan under the bus for doing nothing with respect to his white knighting for said anonymous costhot. Basically it's hearsay and likely inadmissable.
2. Erica McCord stopped being Vic's handler 4 years ago, and he's reading into her motivations and providing yet more hearsay. Really wonder what Erica would say about the situation, here.
3. Kelly Loftus attends Kawaii Kon in 2014, then goes and emails him a complaint on January 28th 2019, after Vic got victimized by #metoo. She's got a separate affidavit in there.
4. He's blaming these incidents and other emails for disinviting Vic, that there's no written contract with Vic, and that all defendants haven't asked him to disinvite Vic. Note the disingenuous wording there - that they didn't specifically ask him to disinvite Vic. "If he's there, I won't go to your convention" isn't technically asking to get Vic disinvited, it's just economic pressure for him to make that decision. It's going to look real bad for him if that type of message pops up in discovery and he has this sworn affidavit on the record.

At no point in the affidavit does Michele claim to have witnessed any negative behavior from Vic towards anyone else or to have experienced any kind of abuse herself.

The affidavit itself just seems like an excuse to attach those emails and authenticate them. However, since Vic replied to them, they could have just as easily attached them to their initial response and had Vic authenticate them during the deposition. Vic likely would have shown them to BHBH when they discussed his case as well, so nothing in them would come as a surprise to Ty as well.

Any reason to go through the trouble of only attaching them to the case as part of an affidavit (which could get removed by the judge) instead of through other means? To me it seems like the kind of thing you'd want to bring up in a deposition if for no other reason than to beat Vic up with it and see if you can put him off guard.

Vic considered her for a cameo or guest role early on, but nothing specific, and never the Dr. McKennah role. That character, and the name, were conceived by Vic and Michele specifically for her.

We had plenty of one-time guest actors and hopefuls who had similar discussions with Vic and even submitted self-taped auditions. I don't know if Michele had weighed in on the idea of her being cast at any point.

This is so weird...so now Kara wants revenge being passed for a guest spot? What goes through these people's minds..
