Sorry about being out of the loop, recently started a new job and haven't had time to drop by and keep up. Couple questions.

1. What's up with Reuben Langdon? I keep reading about people not wanting to touch him or giving "the Langdon treatment", any insights?

2. Has there been any news over Harpy Marchi's depo?

1. Langdon is one of the few pro-Vic VAs. Not sure about the "Langdon treatment", but judging by way it's worded, it sounds nasty.
2. She filed a TCPA along with Funi and MoRons, so there's going to be a stay on discovery for some time. It's speculated that hearings will be held on August the 8th for all the parties bc the judge seems to be the kind of guy who wants to get everything done quickly and efficiently, so we'll just have to wait with our fingers crossed.

"Work conflict" is a good excuse they can give, since their contracts ALL have an exit clause about their studios calling them away. I.e., if Funimation is colluding with them to pull them from misbehaving cons that won't blacklist people Funimation and their speds want blacklisted, that's the excuse you'll see.

Risking getting yelled at for powerleveling, I'm gonna admit it's frankly unsettling how far the reaches of this case are getting. I'm not an US resident and in my country most anime is watched subbed, and very rarely dubbed to the local language, but it feels really weird seeing weebs here talking about the case openly.

And now to wait for more lulz from MoRonica and the Harpy.

I'm trying to parse the root of this apparent evil that these people are still so rabid over. It's just not dawning on me where this righteous indignation is coming from. From the supporters of this nonsense, obviously because they're sheep who's rallying for their team to win like it's a ball game or some shit--but for the people directly involved, I don't think I'll ever get it. To go this far over jelly beans? A front cover to a DVD box set? The pulling of hair that's clearly, largely taken out of context? Personally cheating on a significant other that virtually has nothing to do with them? What was the tipping point? Was there even one?

The only thing I can surmise, is that between the public (Saucedo) and the actors (Rial & co.) both parties had different non-issues with Vic. Things like not signing yaoi or perhaps holding Sunday service at cons to trigger elite atheist preteens, that's established. But I don't know how that turned into this doppler effect of "Vic Lasanga raped me" all over the internet, be it boy or girl (and sometimes troon.) Same for the actors: okay, so the guy cheated on his wife or fiancee or whatever...that's it? What caused things like that Dick Mangina parody? What incited that? I've never seen anything like that for another actor in the dubbing industry. I can get some of them just immediately believed Monica and therefore were outraged, but what's stoking those flames of absolute stubbornness now? Idiocy? Delusion?

I'd like to think better of grownass people who manage to pay a mortgage and car note every month. People like Sabat and his apparent, secretive disdain for Vic makes me curious as to why. Like the guy is literally that true final boss that set everything into motion, but you don't see him the entire game. I guess only time will tell, or not, I dunno.

These people HATE Vic because of the genuine love and acclaim he gets, why do you think some of them played buddy-buddy with him for so many years? They've tried to use him to boost themselves up... but sooner or later they were going to crack. People like Sabat always hated him because, unlike himself, Vic's fairly humble and level headed about all the acclaim he gets- especially when you compare Vic to dipshit divas like Sean "Cuckarot" Schemmel.

People like Monica, Jamie, Amanda Winn Lee, and all these other fat washed up cunts eventually got so desperate for the attention and fame that Vic had, that they tried to turn themselves into imaginary victims to paint the narrative of: "hE's SuCh An EvIl rApIsT mAn11!!1" to try and make themselves look like the 'strong victims standing up to their abuser'.

Hell, Monica's own deposition shows her motive for all this shit: "Despite being the main character of [Such and such movie], Vic is listed on the box... but I'm not." These people fucking HATE the fact that people care about Vic, but no one gives a heaping pile of shit about them.

The Broly movie was the last straw, they wanted to tear him down by any means necessary... so they went after his ability to connect with his fanbase because these slimy cunts knew they'd be the ones to support Vic. Then HanLeia tarded out about Vic because "MuH sTuPiD fUcKiN' yAoI"... and all these people latched on to the opportunity to defame him even more.

Which sucks, because his voice acting is on-point for them, and particularly with AM's case really embodies the character to the point that his removal will be detrimental to the show's dub. But he just had to go for Vic because he couldn't also voice Broly. It's tragic in every direction.

Sabat's All-Might is way too close to Armstrong that I cannot take it seriously. I keep expecting him to rip his shirt off and flex. Sabat is the primary reason I stick to the sub.

marchi and rial were (still are, probably) coworkers and friends with michelle specht. monica mentions this in her depo at some point, too ("he was dating a friend of mine, michelle specht, at the time")

so michelle finally has enough of vic fucking around behind her back and decides to get back at him. marchi and rial gladly join her because they're close friends and emphatize with her. there might be some additional motivations at work here, too, like professional jealousy, but i think michelles quest for revenge is the immediate cause that set this whole thing into motion.

Yeah, when you think about it, it's really only two people with the same exact story here: Monica and Marchi. Anyone in between is either some troon on PULL or some delusional bitch from the 80's that can't get her story straight.

Pridemore doesn't really count because she's a broke, lying, attention-starved conslut whose life is a comedy of bad decisions that will certainly blood-let, in detail, all over a courtroom floor soon. I can tell you about not wanting to touch him, it's not literal. Langdon is untouchable by these fucknuggets in terms of getting him fired. The Capcom execs, in Japan, love him and his Dante. He runs a recording studio that Capcom uses and has a qt Japanese wife. So when he says that he supports Vic, the cunts at Funi can seethe all day long, nothing's going to happen. No idea what "the Langdon treatment" is, though.

Nah, like the people further up said, there's still cool voices like Crispin Freeman and such hanging around. They could be KickVic for all we know, but they don't fucking sperg out 24/7 on twitter like these people do. People are getting sick of it. I was reading a study recently that said in the last 20 years the propensity for men to believe women who claim to have been raped has dropped by over half. That's pretty big. People are just not buying the bullshit anymore. Make no mistake, this is a test case. The outcome of this case will determine how professionals react to accusations in the future. I expect to see a significant increase in defamation lawsuits against women in the next few years, followed by a significant falloff of bullshit sexual assault allegations against men. Even the police are fed up. Look at the women getting charged with filing a false report. Even prosecutors are getting fucked. The Duke lacrosse team prosecutor got disbarred and went to jail (for a day).

The winds are blowing from another direction now.

Well it's like the saying goes, "where there's smoke, there's fire". Had there been evidence that there was truth to the rumors then it would be a very different story. Nobody should ever believe something just because somebody said it. Claims were taken,examined and pulled apart over and over to come to conclusions that people have now. We've yet to find any witness or alleged victim of Vic that seems credible and has a story that stands up to scrutiny. It also didn't help their case as you said when they opened their mouths and started shouting down anyone who challenged their story or asked them to produce evidence.
