Troons telling each other they're not real women.

I'm one of those TERF-leaning ladies who doesn't feel threatened by FtM people, and this is definitely why. Former women have real women's backs more than trans "women." It's almost
Ike FtM have firsthand experience in seeing how creeps and predators try to gain access to the most intimate of women-only spaces 🙃
Buck seems to be on the level, but some of the worst TRAs in the UK that Helped get our Gender Recognition Act passed and who have been lobbying hard for self-ID are FtM. Search Mumsnet for references to Stephen Whittle and James Morton, they’re a pair of scunners. Whittle likes to show up occasionally doing her best old duffer impression and then casually suggest that it’s fine to have transgirls (AKA teenage boys) join the Girl Guides and that Guide Leaders should keep condoms on them in case the kids decide to bone when they’re on camp. As you can imagine, that went down like a cup of puke on a forum of angry parents.

The disavowals published in the TriCity News article (archive) posted over in the Yaniv News Network Thread.

First, from Encompass Support Services Society denying any ties to Jessica's substitute swim event whose discussion was tabled by the TOL council for two months:
Yaniv said her request at council was in response to a similar swim postponed by the City of Langley last month.

That swim was organized by Encompass Support Services Society and supported by the city. However, it faced backlash from some local residents.

Christine McCracken, executive director of programs at Encompass, said Yaniv has nothing to do with her group.

“We have no association with that person at all. That person was not a part of planning of that event,” said McCracken.

And then from PFLAG:
Yaniv said she also consulted with PFLAG, an LGBTQ advocacy group, on the swim session. But Omid Razavi, PFLAG Canada’s director of communications, denied this.

“After reviewing this further, I am very confident that none of our chapters had any consultations with Jessica Yaniv,” Razavi said.

MtF Youtuber Rose of Dawn's videos on the subject (who's a "problematic, TERF friendly" transexual, but still):
this first link was very informative to a boon like myself, I knew nothing about the
sheila(sp?) Poyer / Jeremy Parardis
'episode'
and i've been deep diving this for 72 hours, *shudder* thanks

In a few weeks or months I bet he'll be whining because "nobody asked trans people what we thought!"

Trans identified or not, if you're a TRA pushing for gender self-ID laws while labeling anybody who's concerned about the many negative consequences a big bad transphobe because "lol that's never going to happen", then it absolutely makes sense for people to expect you to talk about it once that thing you said would never happen starts happening. But suddenly, people like Kat have nothing to say?

This dude says that as if they don't constantly scream that white men have collective guilt for what other white men do. They DO demand white men denounce this shit, and pay reparations, and publicly self-flagellate, and on and on and on. Also no, dude, this isn't shocking to transphobes. This is the least shocking thing in the world to transphobes. This is exactly what transphobes have been predicting for years. This is shocking to the useful idiots who bought your retarded bullshit about trannies being perfect guileless princesses uWu.
They can scream troonphobia all they want & call everyone a terf but that's not gonna help for long.
All that's gonna do is make normies realize the TERFs were right all along.

Not only that, but it's a slippery slope. In addition to demanding white guilt and reparations, we have the people who start out rightfully justified in wanting to know about the predators in other communities -- namely the Catholic Church and (to a lesser extent) teaching profession -- where said creeps were simply allowed to go elsewhere, effectively sweeping the problem under the rug so that someone else had to deal with it. Yet, there's the same fringe element that thinks identifying these predators, calling them out, and prosecuting them when actionable still isn't enough.

In the other corner, we have the alphabet soup community who -- when confronted with one of their own as a predator -- stick their collective head in the sand, shield 🛡 these predators, white knight them, and use the flimsy "They don't represent all of us, stop judging us/stay in your lane" arguments they would never accept from anyone else.

If they want other communities to police their own predators and bad apples, it's a two-way street in that everyone else will expect and demand the same from them in return.
