Never mind that a person doxing another learns a lot about that individual in researching to obtain their identity. These people live their lives in digital spaces making public every facet of their miserable existence. You'd have to be an idiot to share everything about yourself in a public square and then turn around and bitch when someone can identify you. This is why I don't use social media and strictly stick to directly talking to people in person or over the phone when I want to interface with them.

It's hard for those with diminished mental capacity to comprehend that doxing is public info gathered from the internet and their very own social media that they spew and spout off on continuously. They forget they are putting identifying information about their entire life for anyone to find in their intense desire for attention. We are not harassers....but more like scientists looking at a disgusting bug under a microscope trying to figure out why it's so disgusting and why it does what it does, conferring with other scientists about our findings. The only part i'm unsure of is whether scientists actually laugh right out loud or spit their coffee across the room at the really dumb shit their specimen does.
