Definitely. I think everyone is willing to help Arin get his head screwed on right, but after a few years they're just getting tired of trying.
Also, I find it really fucking funny that despite Cory being on the spectrum, he has more self awareness and social tact than Arin. Good for him, though, he's a great guy.

My hot take: it has nothing to do with Arin being a SJW (well maybe a but) it has everything to do with him being a fucking sellout. You see, Arin has really juicy bussiness with the Storytime Animation's crowd because he is doing a tour with Jaiden, James and pals. Storytime Animation is the perfect content for the men with the suits in the higher levels of Youtube: harmless, wholesome and profitable as fuck. On the other hand, you have the old guard of Youtube animation that have always made all kind of politically incorrect content, since most of them are veterans from Newgrounds. Arin is trying to cut all those ties all together because with his business model, he doesn't want to be associated with that kind of content. So, he whiteknights the Storytime Animators in hope to show himself as a good boi, that is not like those raunchy animators that make content that can hurt people's feefees. My theory is that Pelo was took by surprise by Arin responding that way, but, by his response, Oney is not surpised at all. He knows better than anybody that Arin is trying to burn bridges with his ol' Newgrounds pals to rebrand himself as a part of the Storytime Animation crowdm And you know what's the best fucking part about this? TheOdd1Out liked Arin's tweet apparently. The rumours of him being a bitch that can't handle criticism are not that far-fetched.

Arin is probably just jealous that Sir Pelo is making fun animations and getting popularity for it like he used to.
Pelo isn't afraid to not be PC, his work is completely his own and it's fucking funny because of that. Arin's entire career rides on keeping his fans happy now, he could get cancelled at any time and lose everything. Obviously he doesn't realise how much of a hypocrite he's being given his old content, it's actually pretty funny when it isn't just fucking embarrassing.
