Considering that even the defendants are claiming that he lured them to his room and then was simply disappointed when they shot him down, it's a tough ask to say he's a RAPIST. I think the default argument at present is he's a sexual harasser, which granted, a large swath of the populace interprets as "rapist", but I don't think even the most outrageous story of those currently presented claims he actually "raped" anyone. And I'm glad I'm not a teen anymore, because it looks like the next 5-10 years (at least) are gonna be hell for trying to find a mate.

actually, according to their own testimony, this shit goes back to the 2000s, so they had over 10 YEARS to do that.

The TCPA attacks all points. Whether it fails, passes, or partially passes (e.g. winning on TI with contract but failing on everything else) remains to be seen.

All four torts alleged - defamation, tortious interference with contract, tortious interference with prospective business relations, and civil conspiracy - definitely fall under the TCPA based off the plaintiff's pleadings alone. The entire point of the lawsuit is to get the defendants to stop saying defamatory statements, to stop messaging conventions to try to get them to cancel appearances, to stop messaging conventions to convince them to not book Vic in the future, and to associate and talk with other defendants to accomplish these goals, respectively.

The defendants are asking the judge to dismiss all counts, and the judge can dismiss all or part of the lawsuit depending on what the plaintiff can show has a prima facie factual basis (and what affirmative defenses the defendants can prove to a preponderance of evidence).

Vic sat quiet for 4 months watching his so called friends run his name and reputation through the dirt,

vic admitted in deposition that the conversations he had with his counsellor was private and he was prescribed with anti depressants and blood pressure medication.

"Hiring a lawyer was the stupidest thing he could have done"

These people are litreally the worst. And monicas drafted email from vic to another colleague proves why if he would have kept quiet his life and carrer would have been gone.

Vic tried to do that but it didn't work out for him and his only option left was legal recourse.vic didn't want to do this no one wanted this to happen.

Vic his fans and kiwifarms didn't care until the defendants started coming out with false allegations.

If this goes back to the 2000s we have at least a decade and a half of unreported sexual assaults that clearly nobody gave a shit about.
