The "Desmond is ugly" comments are a little harsh, in my opinion. Considering the environment he is being raised in, how would you expect him to look? It's like ripping on concentration camp victims for not being instathots (hello Russell Greer!) or reading the Schofield thread and thinking " Jani isn't hawt. Why isn't Jani hawt?"

He probably lives on some awful mix of Lunchables, Klonopin, ritalin, stale club pretzels that might have been roofied, and Hot Pockets. Do you think he gets appropriate sleep? Or has a clean, sanitary living space? I doubt it. If I fostered him for six months, I'd put him on a beef, veggie, and brown rice diet, get him on a soccer team or in cub scouts, and toss the meds and processed crap he probably eats in the trash. If he can't handle soccer or scouting and really DOES like girly stuff? Fine. Get him in a hip-hop dance class, ballet, gymnastics or something like that. At least he might make some friends his age! And he would actually learn to dance, which he clearly sucks at currently.

Jani and Bodhi appear to have been treated well in their five months in foster care and now look like normal, sweet children and have a little glow about them! I've seen kids who were adorably cute when they were little turn out awkward-looking and I've seen funny looking little kids turn into models. It happens and you can't assume what a kid will look like when they grow up. Especially when they have been raised in the trainwreck of Wendy's fantasy world.

Give Desmond six months away from his awful mom, put some meat on his bones, get him on a sleep schedule with regular exercise, and I bet he looks a little better. Mom is the cow, not Desmond, in my opinion.

I'm not a logging the kid. I hope the best for him. I even said it's not his fault that he's the way he is. Doesn't change how I perceive him though. I made the comment I did because someone said not to. It pisses me off when non mods try and police people's posts. Kinda like you're doing now.

I agree. I feel bad for the little guy I really do. His parents have possibly ruined his entire life because of this. I don't wish harm upon him at all (his parents are a different story.) Doesn't stop me from shitposting about him though.
