If there's a situation in the detention facilities where-in the Democrats are actively pursuing polices with the intent of creating an inhumane situation--which is exactly what they were doing under Obama, which they're trying to blame Trump for now--then why doesn't that fact interest people. If there are children in the detention facilities and there are shortages of supplies for the people we're detaining there and that shortage is expressly able to be laid at the feet of the Democrats because they're playing political football while a bunch of people sit around in a room smelling like pits just so some people hundreds and hundreds of miles away can try to blame that on Trump instead, then... Wouldn't it be smart to focus on that?

If I was Trump I'd be pointing my finger directly at that and going, "kids stink; democrats did it lol" because anything less than that is just playing directly into their hands. I'm at a loss to understand the contention here in that regard, because if you were juxtaposed to what the Democrats were doing then wouldn't you... Want to give them soap and toothpaste? I maintain the opinion that these facilities should be appropriately funded and the people within able to maintain basic hygeine. I am not in a position to take the Dems to task, and attempts get met with "whataboutism".

The film versions of Infinity War and Endgame if you really stretch it. They pull out all the stops and get everyone in Hollywood together to stop the big bad (who can somehow get vast armies out of nowhere) and he still inexplicably wins, after which they go out to assassinate him (in Trump's case deplatforming his biggest early supporters who got the ball rolling) only to find that it changes nothing. Then they go through the 5 stages of grief until someone discovers that it can all be reset with some clever manipulation of the past, much like the Dems tried with the Mueller probe, being convinced that it would get Trump declared illegitimate and all his actions as president revoked.
