If they were to find CP (or anything illegal) in plain view in the course of a search for something else stipulated in a warrant, it's fair game to seize and use against him.

They wouldn't search or seize any electronic devices unless they were specifically named in the warrant.

He may have been watched by the RCMP. I've seen it happen - post certain things on social media that makes you considered potentially dangerous and get an invitation for a talk.

Then spotted on Blair White. Or reported by soneone with the video as proof. Wouldn't be the first time someone incriminated themselves.

Sooooo yeah......they don't just stand guard overnight to prevent him to gain access just for a weak stun gun in US. But that may be diff for Canada so I'd need a Canuck to clarify and do you guys have overnight judges for warrant signing?

This could actually be a happening in the works, guys and gals. His hard drive and devices could very well be getting included in the warrant if the victim met with RCMP. I mean, I feel like they would have searched and been done with it already if it was just the stun gun. And I imagine you're federal RCMP is like getting a visit from one of the US's alphabet boys, right @WGkitty ?
