i cant find that tweet anymore but dave said that he left the ac on the whole day on monday while he and his soulmaid were gone so that it wouldn't get too hot for jasper

either he's lying about his bills being high or his dumb ass doesn't know how to save money

I bet it's a blistering 75 degrees downstairs if you don't turn on the A/C. A cat will be fine in your house with the A/C off. Pets die in cars because it ends up being like 120 degrees in there.

This. A/C went out for me for a day and had to practically babysit my cat because it got up to 105+ F, which is very bad temperature for cats, especially if they thicc.

So it's just laughable he takes care of it like its a child at this point. Like he has never had a cat and he just got a brand new toy to humanize for good boy points. He's parading the fuck out of it.

Here is my little unsubstantiated gamer theory: Phil was told ahead of time by PlanetJeff that if he got $1000 he would match it, or something to that effect. For that reason, Phil tipped himself those big tips near the end to reach $1000 and thus get a bigger payout from Jeff.

More likely that Jeff told him he would tip $1000 no matter what, and Phil told him to wait until the end so he could squeeze a little more blood from the stone. Might also explain the "Tier 2" nonsense--Phil needed a reason for Jeff to be tipping that $1000. Of course, Phil also blew it with his shit acting and by making Tier 2 "uhhhhh, duh cat can come in if it feels like it, but only on certain streams and also no cat cam"

I like this theory because it just felt out of nowhere and probably does under the table shit with people like planetjeff. Wouldn't be surprised if that massive gifted sub dump was also some under the table gig.

"hey phil I'm gonna dump 1k on your ass on so and so day"

and figured hey I can reveal that i have a fucking cat randomly and admitting to having one for a year. Because what could he really offer aside from something to entice Jeff to keep coming back after a 1k dump. Just have to say you have been having really good CHILL streams on top of that to explain the reveal.

Just feels like a half ass thing he could think about at the time because right now he's pulling wools over peoples eyes with generic statements "worst financial situation in my life".

imagine being a cuck you have to set up appointments for when you get to drop large amounts of money to a fat gouty man who thinks of you as nothing more than a walking wallet.

I mean it's in the realm of possibility. Remember when he tried to keep a personal email hush hush because someone wanted to donate him a mass amount. Keeps it anonymous so those nasty trolls don't attack his precious whales.

Let's be real, the most persuasive argument (in my book) would be that emerald_seven never participated in chat prior to showering Phil with subs.
People like Papavera, PlanetJeff or even Derichloveslemur are some exceptional individuals, and constantly feel the need to ask irrelevant questions or share weird stuff with Phil that no one asked for. They've got some sort of urge to express themselves in some way - one of them submits essays with his bits, the other throws stacks of money at Phil, and lastly.. Derich who begs for subs so he can keep his streak going.
It's definitely convenient to go down the rabbit hole and assess this situation based on his general audience, but I always had a hunch there was some family member/paypig involved in all this.

I don't know if all that is true, but I absoluely believe the part about DSP telling PlanetJeff to wait until the goal was reached.

DSP has bitched about KingTut and EmeraldSeven in the past because they were "too generous" and it cost him money because everyone else donated less. I don't have a clip on me, but he absolutely yelled at people in chat saying that DSP must be okay now after a big donation: "No stupid! I still need money!"

We saw it just recently with the $1100 donation. DSP banned anyone that mentioned it and immediately set Streamlabs to private once Tevin brought it to his attention.
