He's streaming with Hotwheels soon, Josh will also be on

Neat, I'm actually catching something live for once. What a weird time, but hotwheels and josh are foreign timezone fucks. I guess I'm surprised Ethan is up early.

an hour in they are discussing what would happen if 8chan went down for good, and null recounts how he shifted from an Obama-voting democrat into a right-wing Reichmaster thanks to internet censorship :jaceknife:

Ralph is back doing entertaining and relatively well organized streams? What is this, 2018?
He even laughed along when Hotwheels said he only listened to The Killstream when he'd heard Ralph was drunk on stream, pointing out it was 100% true.

Dlive is seriously terrible. First time I've tried to listen live and I kept getting a spinner and had to refresh the page. God knows what that site is doing in the background because the CPU usage is enormous.

I watched it fine on a literal toaster, but the site layout and UI is pretty awful. I'm not sure what people like pewdiepie and Ethan like about it, but maybe the unfriendly clutter is part of the appeal, to keep out normies or something.

In Ralph's case I think it's his last resort at this point because he'd probably get banned everywhere else that has livestreaming capabilities. Pewdiepie probably got a payoff from them and/or just felt like throwing his weight around because the staff at youtube lowkey hate him.

As much as I still think the Killstream will never be what it once was, I have to admit that Ralph has made an actual effort to not be a drunk, high, spergy piece of shit Tonka 2.0 (while on stream, at least). If only he had seen what he was becoming sooner.

I like that as he tries to be more and more "normal" and providing coverage of mainstream issues, he'll always have the autistic past of "I got kicked out of Brianna Wu's panel during GamerGate because I tweeted about being there, and while he-she was speaking up at the podium he-she was ALSO on twitter and found out where I was sitting based on my pic tweeted." It's like Alex Jones' infiltration of the Bohemian Grove, but Ralph infiltrated a tranny panel instead & got caught :story:

Reactions: Well Fuck
I'm listening to the Hotwheels / Null stream right now and I've got to hand it to Ralph - he's doing way better than he was a few months ago. Feels like a 2018 Killstream. If he keeps this up I might start tuning in again.
Yeah, to my surprise I actually was thinking similarly. When he’s not hammered senseless & not defensive & belligerent, one can appreciate why he was good in the first place.
People frequently say he doesn’t actually do anything, Zidan was why the show was good, etc etc, but he DOES actually ā€œdo somethingā€: when he’s not spazzing tf out he’s a very personable host who moderates conversations very well, giving his own takes along the way but allowing the guests to give theirs without interrupting & derailing them the way many hosts do.
He comes across as very easy for guests or callers to talk to. Whether this is a ā€œtalentā€ or something that’s just there via no conscious ā€œeffortā€ or talent, not everyone has this quality, & a host who lacks it would presumably have a much more stilted show.
So yeah; it doesn’t erase the dickish shit that’s gone on in previous months, but regardless, I’m glad he’s apparently pulled himself together a bit.

Ryan is spicy af, exactly what sober Ralph needs for co-host.
Yeah the two of them go surprisingly well given the last time Ryan was on, which was a total shitshow and IIRC Ethan was wasted the whole time.

@theralph have him on again, it's been a great show. And that's coming from one of your top 5 A-logs.

EDIT:
Watched the episode with Anglin. It was pretty comfy and enjoyable. Two days in a row I tuned in for Ralph's show. I haven't done that in many months. I see there's a lot of positive feedback from his audience as well. He almost hit 1k live viewers on DLive last night.

I can sincerely say these last two episodes have been better than anything he's put out since the late StreamMe days.
