I wouldn't be surprised if they try for Impeachment (as much as they can make it happen on pure partisan cussedness, meaning they might be able to force it to die a long drawn-out undignified death in the Senate) BEFORE 2020 since the Meuller Probe crashed and burned without a smoking gun for such, they hoped that it would at least created a big enough stink that 2020 would be a de facto impeachment proceeding in the court of public opinion .

I think the left has shown enough bad faith and vitriol that the last three years will provide enough ammunition for the memories and actions of the Republicans to respond similarly. It's been an absolute shitshow that is going to have long term impact. I don't like the Republican party any more than the Democratic one, so I see this entire period as simply heating the water as we regular frogs end up boiling. The left, ostensibly being for the underdog and the "people", have done more damage to "peace, love and understanding" than any Republican in the last 100 years IMO.
