Good lord, I know a lot of "JoJo fans" and YouTubers that hate Vic, it'd be a great spectacle to see them implode like this. More so, since Part 5 is the favorite among them

How long do you think it'll take Vic to go dressed to a con like one of these two motherfuckers?

I will laugh myself into Diavolo's time loop if he goes as the former, since he actually voiced him.

I'd love to see those so-called fans have their heads implode, you wouldn't believe how many "fans" on KickVic have been seen with icons of Mista, Narancia, Bruno, Giorno, and Abbacchio have shown up on Twitter.

Seeing him casted again by Viz would be sweet, doubly if he plays Giorno and ruins Giorno / Mista for the fujoshits.

Fucking hell, Marchi voiced Junkko in the Englidh Dub of the Danganropa anime. No wonder I hated the voice.

The Danganronpa Animes have a lot of KickVic people in it, if you look hard enough:

Byakuya is played by Josh Grelle.

Mondo is played by Chris Sabat.

Ishimaru is played by Austin Tindle.

Chihiro is played by Kara Edwards.

Hifumi is played by Tyson "Gamergate Creepshows" Rinehart.

Chisa is played by Colleen Clinckenbeard.

Juzo is played by Ian Sinclair.

Ryota Mitarai / Ultimate Imposter is played by Justin Briner.

Great Gozu is played by Chris Rager.

For added bonus VAS that aren't for the anime:Mike McFarland and Terri Dotty play Makoto's parents in the first game, Mikan Tsumiki and Nekomaru Nidai are played by Stephanie Sheh and Patrick "Puss Puss" Seitz respectively in the second game, plus in the third game when Tsumugi does her cosplay in the last trial and Seitz also voices Monokid.

EDIT:

Christina Vee plays Monaca in UDG, Alexis Tipton plays Komaru Naegi in the Anime replacing Cherami Leigh, Ibuki is played by Brina Palencia in the Anime, and Monokuma in the Anime is played by Greg Ayres.

(Apologies in advance to anyone reading this autistic post.)

Justin Cook is KickVic? Yusuke why?

Nick's once bitten (Shame Holberg) and twice shy to debate any of the galaxy brained mouth breathers on the KV side.

Mostly because they've been hilariously fucking wrong at every turn and claim of theirs.

I don't think he's said anything publicly; to my knowledge he doesn't have any public-facing social media. Maybe something more recent turned up, but I can't find it.

Can't recall exactly, but I think he did some Retweet back when this broke? I remember a list of VAS that were KickVic (Vocal and Retweeters alike) with Justin Cook's name on there, but if you found nothing on the subject I'll remove his name from the list.

I don't think Justin Cook has a twitter account. Also Vic said in his depo he met with Justin when all this started and Justin said he didn't believe the rumors, but it's possible he was lying to Vic's face since that's sadly common.

Ah, my mistake.

I'll remove Cook until some solid proof comes up, but have updated the DR VA list:Greg Ayers, Brina Palencia, Alexis Tipton, and Christina Vee have been added.

Has he actually said anything pro-kickvic though?

Well yeah and that 1 spaz nick didn't bring on his show on friday just seems to be parroting douchette.

Been saying this for a while. why do we have a middleman? The companies would make more money if they just distributed internationally themselves, would probably wind up allowing for domestic prices to go down too in the process. Viz is fine for the time being and Bang Zoom is too, but Funimation let itself get infested with roaches.

One of the only things that turns me off collecting from Japan is that the properties licensed in the USA are cheaper than the same sets in Japan.
Partly because it would require a rather large amount of effort on their part, like establishing a place of business in the US. The other factor is the profit margins to balance production for a smaller country they are more familiar with, compared to 2 continents in the west where they are likely to overproduce at a smaller profit margin. US sets are mostly complete with a disk or two, while Japan has multiple volumes and sells during the hype of the initial release.

We will likely always need a middleman if you want dub releases since Japanese companies rather not put the effort of trying to do the localization work on their own, especially casting.

You don't need a middleman necessarily, but whatever US-side business you'd set up, you'd need them to run under direction to a point, but be able to understand the market far better than your locality.

A lot of corporations work this way with their local corp being more in tune with their local market while still under orders from the core.

Nintendo does this pretty well. Ashai Brewery is another, with European and UK branches which run nearly independently from the core corp back in Japan.
