Frankly whatever you think of what actually happened in Charlottesville, the way the entirety of the American left latched onto it instantaneously and with a laser intensity and has used it to justify absolutely everything they've wanted to do in an attack on their ideological enemies since (with one of the most popular being taking down civil war memorials in the south, because apparently that will magically stop cars from ramming fat dumbasses), it's certainly easy to see why someone would think the whole incident was engineered. Like yeah, okay, likely enough that it was just one sperg who snapped and hit the gas because he was pissed one day, but when it plays so perfectly into one side's hands and that side is so perfectly and expertly coordinated and of one voice on milking it for two fucking years, it's enough to trigger that part of the human brain that sees patterns and make you go "Gosh maybe there's something funny about this" whether there's something funny about it or not.

It's sort of like the whole "Obama is a Muslim" thing. I don't think he is, but I can't really blame anyone who thinks he due to the whole giving massive amounts of money to Muslim terrorist regimes, y'know, stuff like that. Same for things like the Stoneman Douglas shooting... maybe if you don't want people to think you staged the whole thing using actors, don't form a non-profit activist group with complete paperwork and press releases for the carefully selected group of spokestudents within twenty-four hours, because whether you staged it or not shit like that makes it look like you fucking staged it.

They’re only okay with foreign interference if it is from certain kinds of people and in their favor. Universal voter ID should be a bipartisan issue, but the ones suffering from TDS don’t like it because it means less illegal votes and therefor less chances for their candidate to win. It’s pretty sad that wanting this is viewed as a Republican/Conservative issue and not universally advocated for no matter the political leaning.
