Eh, just because one of the functions of the meds prevent seizures does not mean she is having seizures. She's not an epileptic, as far as I know. Nor is she so addicted to alcohol or benzos that she is at risk of a seizure.

You're right in that one of the withdrawal symptoms is seizure, but you have to be a severe addict for that to even be on the table. Assburger is a certified alcoholic and he's never had a seizure from going cold turkey, so I think Liu can bare going off a small amount of benzos and having a little anxiety attack.
