I know this is late as fuck, but I wanted to comment on this because I think it highlights how much of a shut-in Steph is. Ithaca has a reputation of being a sort of Portland-like city, but the local population is mostly aging granola Hippies, early Punks, and their descendants. There are three main groups that make up the population of Ithaca: The locals, Ithaca College students (IC), and Cornell University students (CU). A lot of the trans population in Ithaca comes from IC and CU groups, not the natives, because IC is an art school and thus attracts weirdos of all kinds, and Cornell is for rich kids and I've noticed that trans people tend to mostly come from upper-middle class families and up. Since she posted this a week ago, that means that the IC and CU groups aren't even there because the Fall semester hasn't started for either of them yet. Since Steph lives in Endicott, which is close by to a different city with a population that also varies hugely with the coming and going of school, you'd think she'd understand how this works.

Or, Petey is going to die from heart complications due to obesity. She should never have been given a cat. I think Stephanie’s parents are good people, but they have a problem with discipline. Loving someone does not mean let them do whatever they want. I’m sure they have the same attitude with Stephanie and with the cat., and that is negligent.

Steph's dad is what 60-70ish? He's an old man with an old wife who has complications. I'm sure he might have mentioned it to Steph or has tried to feed Petey less but Steph is a tard. She probably feeds Petey her own junkfood and refills his food bowel when she sees it's low or empty without thinking. Then again, he might have thought Steph would be able to somehow care for Petey. She begged relentlessly for him so he might have thought she was capable of caring for him. He might even be staying silent to tell her when Petey does get either joint issues or diabetes that she was the one who did this to him and to learn. Petey is too young for me to believe he would have developed a thyroid condition that would have him gain this sort of weight. Steph is either being a moron and thinking this weight is fine since she's a fat whale herself or just so incompetent that she might be doing it on purpose by 'spoiling' him so she can get affection by reinforcing good/normal behavior with food. Regardless it's still abusive of her to be lowering the quality of life for her cat.

I think the reason I like her is because she never got out of the experimental "finding yourself" phase that most kids go through.

I think most youth have gone through an embarassing period where they cherry picked certain traits and ideals because they were edgy or appealing, while being completely unaware that the persona they created for themselves has ideals that are incongruent.

She's never left that stage. She knows only superficial information about wicca, gods, demons, tarot and etc. Her "moral superiority' is incongruent with her death/serial killer obsession but she doesnt care. She's the type to rave about how much she loves To Kill a Mockingbird despite never reading it, simply because it's associated with someone she idolizes.
