As already pointed out about what would happen to RWBY if a restructuring happens, they’ll probably do even worse than Current Year Cuck Teeth:

-The Faunus Racism subplot would be hammered even harder, possibly even going for those parallels with the Trump’s Bizarre Immigrant Adventure going on.

-None of the original voice actresses for Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang would be back with them being replaced with upcoming voice talent or existing voice actresses~ Kinda would suck, but considering Barb and Arryn’s shit involving their characters has been...Well, I wouldn’t miss those two.

-Even more “WHAMEN POWER” while dialing Adam Taurus up to eleven far more than Miles and Kerry have done, Hell they might even have one of the main girls (Probably Yang, most likely) punch out Cardin just to save Jaune’s skinny ass.

-Even more Lesbians, now Weiss and Ruby are endgame White Rose~ Nora will leave Ren, and Pyrrha will realize her crush on Jaune was just covering her sexuality.

-Salem would be shown as in the right for her plans, and Ozpin will be wrong more than the Two Brothers.

The way I figure it, there is a Monty Oum shaped hole in the universe that everyone can project their favorite fan fiction into.

Somebody reading RWBY fan fiction, tears streaming down their face, they cry out "This is what Monty would have wanted!" Then the clouds part, the ghost of Monty Oum comes down, wipes their tears away and says "yes."

Let's say they did do a reboot.

1. They get rid of Miles, Kerry, Grey and Monty's notes. Rework the characters and by episode three people will be screaming "This isn't RWBY!"

2. They keep Monty's notes and work off of them. Pyrrha still dies and Beacon falls. People will be screaming "They fucked up the show again!"

There isn't really a point to rebooting RWBY without Monty because everyone will bitch about it regardless.

Last i saw was the creator tweeting about finishing the music to the OP, but the pictures shown were storyboard panels, so most think that the OP hadn't been animated at that point. I'm pretty sure somebody in one of the threads mentioned that Kate Leth had started work on some other project, so the layoffs might be true.

There should be some consolidation, if for no other reason than Otter Media's corporate structure is muddied. There's too many subdivisions spread out.

I also don't dispute they'll continue doing original productions, and achieve a measure of success with them. People like RWBY, and I heard gen:LOCK was okay.

I just don't think they're doing High Guardian Spice. The only remnant of it seems to be the "trailer" on YouTube, and Crunchyroll disabled both the comments and ability to up/down vote because it was such an unmitigated disaster.

Unfortunately, Discotek has employed the services of Mike Toole and Justin Sevakis (the later on a regular basis for disc mastering). They will TI the shit out of any prospective contract. In fairness, the central joke of the character is that she's hot, but dangerously unstable, preventing the main character from wanting to bone her.

The funny thing is, Monica was, at one time, a very popular guest at cons because she played characters like this. She'd do panels where she'd tell bawdy and suggestive jokes and the fanboys ate it up. Obviously, her popularity as a guest waned as the roles dried up and she got older (people are less interested in a middle-aged woman telling dirty jokes), but I think a lot of people here have the mistaken impression that she was never popular. She wasn't as popular as Vic, but she was easily one of the top VAs in the con scene.

I suppose it ties back into the jealousy thing. Vic stayed popular as he got older, but she just kept fading further and further into the "also appearing" section of the con program.

While I never cared about Game Attack, ScrewAttack basically went all in on Death Battle to the point that there was only Death Battle, DBX, Death Battle Cast, and Top 10 (which had already deviated from counting down stuff from video games IIRC). And at the end of last year, the channel just rebranded itself as Death Battle. And with that, a relic of a bygone era of the Internet was gone.
