Is it? I guess it might be. I haven't really thought about it. While I'm sure there are more of them, I'm now genuinely curious to see if the general occurrence is representative of the population distribution between the races in colleges. There's that whole idea that as a society becomes more prosperous they create boogeymen and problems for themselves to struggle against given the high degree of comfort they live in. It's also there and in that specific way that I don't see a huge difference between troons and radfems.

Non-white trans ppl are more likely to be exclusively homosexual and from backgrounds with more conservative views on sex and sexuality, from what I've seen. There are lots of factors going into it, of course. The most visible contingent of trans activism is very white, middle class, and early middle aged, possibly due to a lifetime of entitlement, but definitely due to the grandiosity a narcissist feels as they burst out of their previous depression.
