Just saw the teirzoo video in question and I'm gonna guess it was
A) planed before the Nazi video and TZ convinced them to wait a little for the backlash died down somewhat
B) EC decided now's the time to start trying to recoup the subs they lost and will start trying to collab with who ever they can get
C) similar to A but instead of TZ posting first they did and kinda forced him to post it
Admittedly I kinda find C the most unlikely, might try to find a way to check if there was a significant time gap between the two videos later though will leave it for now.
Also did check the comments and interpret it how you will at least TZ is acknowledging that most of his comments are given him shit

I do not understand how there's so many people who say "it used to be good". It never was good. It was an interesting viewpoint on gaming on the very first series, but with every series onward since their Penny Arcade days, they have been gotten more, and more political and idiotic.

Well, personally what I, and I assume many others, liked is how they were very optimistic before the SJW nonsense. I mean yeah they were always left-wing and, I always doubted actual game developers learned from them so I don't think they were that great for teaching.
But, early on, they did have optimistic messages about how failing is important to learning or how games could be a great medium of learning and telling amazing stories.
It all turned sour once they became preachy, extreme SJWs and, ironically, a voice against gaming. It was already intolerable. But, the day Dan left was for me the day anything worth watching died.

I can see that. There is one single good advice i very much remember then giving out in while they were still on Penny Arcade, in the year before backing things like Red 5, that's probably useful for anyone creating most anything, but not so useful for games unless you already know the workflow:
Start testing with someone who is not you as soon as you have minimum viable product. You yourself are blind to so many aspects whenever you make something, be it music or Mario Maker levels.

They add those disclaimers because they continue to think these will be used as educational tools for schoolchildren. Concerningly, nowadays this does not seem too outlandish to envisage.

When I was in middle school I remember reading some illustrated history book. I remember it because their was a section on Aztec culture with one of the illustrations being a surprisingly graphic depiction of conquistadors slaughtering Aztecs. As I recall their was no content warning for that. This content warning is Just more evidence of how sensitive we have become as a society
