She would start the races with "¡Bailemos!" (imperative/command), but I guess his education only got up to a certain point as he only knows "bailamos" and thought she was mispronouncing it.

This is what really hurts to see or is it realize? We're not really sure who was at fault for their relationship ending but Dave marrying Khet was a mistake. He should have allowed himself time to get his affairs in order. I would hate to think that he got married to take advantage of some tax law or something else.

I think it came down to Leanna loved DSP, but I'm not sure if DSP ever really loved Leanna or just thought of her as a trophy to prove to all the detractors that he wasn't an incel. Remember, he's a 32 year old man with a 21 year old girlfriend and HE is turning HER down for sex. You can see in their interactions that everything DSP does either looks forced or like he's uninterested in her.

The other thing is that Leanna did really have a fiery spirit. When you look back at the Godfather and Nier playthroughs where Leanna is ribbing him, I wonder if DSP really didn't appreciate his trophy girlfriend "talking back to him" like that. DSP clearly had super ultra traditional roles in mind for the relationship; remember when he woke Leanna up to make dinner instead of making dinner for his sick girlfriend? [By the way, I've never seen that clip so could someone else post it please?] Having someone with a fiery personality could go against DSP's view that his significant other should be seen and not heard. Every time DSP praises Kat, it's because she either made dinner or "avoided the trolls".

She had some choice casual racism during one of Phil's Dead Rising playthroughs, iirc, and was an utter cunt to his chat during his Kingdom Hearts stream, calling it boring and questioning why anyone liked it. I personally agree with her but you don't use your privileged position as the streamer's moll to talk shit about the game he's playing and by proxy its fans, especially since Phil himself does it all the time and is regularly taken to task for it. She had her moments.

I love how he immediately tried to spin his own words into something else by mentioning he's already married. I mean, how is someone obviously jokingly telling you they'd be honored to marry you some day "disgusting"? He awkwardly "switches the subject" quickly by shouting something about that slime enemy. He knew he fucked up the second he said it.

This is one of those prime examples why DSP will fuck himself over on Twitch at some point: the man can't help being... himself. He's simply unable to keep up the charade 100% of the time where he plays this born again, matured human being who is so very different from the immature DSP from 10 years ago (when was was 26 years old, mind you).

Think about it: that Geoff dude literally just told him he got partnered with Twitch, and the first thing that comes out of DSP's mouth is basically saying that one man wanting to marry another man is disgusting. Smart thing to say to someone who is officially partnered. One slip-up and Twitch will fuck him up - and he damn well knows it. I bet he wakes up in the middle of the night - or better said: early in the morning - drenched in sweat because he had a gin-fuelled nightmare about Twitch banning his ass for saying a single, very dumb thing. No wonder he's on edge most of the time...
