From what I know gay porn is just fucked up. No condoms and no TESTING for HIV, it's like don't ask don't tell, in addition to that there was a huge scandal with Tracy Lords being underage and people went to jail for it but in gay porn whoopsies like that seems to happen from time to time and nothing comes from it.

The reasoning for those mistakes between the two sides seems to differ though, the one thing they have in common is that they say they didn't know that the performer was a minor but where they diverge is in their defense, one side says that they thought that the twink that was a minor just looked liked a minor, the other one says that she had a big rack and they never thought she was a minor.

The whole underbelly side of porn is a really weird weird industry in itself, from gay porn to tranny shit, it seems to be a lot more of a lax part of the industry.

I honestly think part of it, is because it is so niche that it's not worth big studios getting involved or more involved than what they already have an output for. Since the industry has always been self policing and the big studios set the policies, it's very easy for the niche/degenerate genres to work without adhering to any industry standards.

Gay for pay is probably one of the most interesting aspects of the gay porn industry, which when you consider that male porn actors are woefully underpaid as compared to their female counter parts (equal pay guys common, it's the current year!) a lot get involved in the gay industry because the work is more consistent.

Just as porn actresses involved in interracial don't sleep outside their race IRL, a lot of the people in gay porn aren't gay when the camera is off.

The underage stuff has been an issue for a long time in Porn. Tracy Lords started when she was 16 and it wasn't discovered until she was 18 and an established porn star that she lied about her age. Some people with those early reels and tapes technically have child porn as far as the law is concerned.

It seems to be less of an interest in the Gay porn industry since again it tends to be bodied with less ethical (if you can use that term for a pornographer) studios. It also has an inordinately high suicide and death rate due to drug addiction, as compared to it's more vanilla heterosexual counterpart.

The bastard child amidst the two is of course the trans-porn industry, which has always existed and yet in the last five years seems to have gained more traction in the mainstream. A majority of transexual's off themselves or die by over dose. Considering for the longest time most of the stuff came from the 3rd world, you can definitely throw in some laxer health and safety standards, and even some trafficking.

The drug addiction and suicide might just be a side-effect of being full of, ya know, gays. It seems to cluster with narcissism of some flavor, at least in men, and gays' penchant for self-destruction should be familiar to most Kiwis.

There's also the part where it's (obviously) principally populated by young men, who make a fair amount of cash fast for being on camera. Young, unworldly guys getting their hands on a lot of money very quickly is a recipe for incredibly bad decision-making, and the inevitable breakdown when those decisions come back to haunt them.

Well their is essentially two gay communities realistically. The normal and the party queer culture. I'd argue party queer culture is very permissive when it comes to risky behaviors and drug use is one of those.

Also it's not a new phenomenon of people having a boatload of available money dropped on them suddenly engaging in stupid behaviors. Especially when the peer group around them is supportive of it.

Hardly new. But it tends to have the most explosive results with young (read: dumb) men, and the "talent" the gay porn industry is basically just that. You see a similar phenomenon in the military, where guys just on their own for the first time and earning a salary spend it all on stupid shit, but there there's a safety net, strict rules you still have to follow, and older guys who can mentor. There, the guys are surrounded by pushers, pimps, and pornographers, and get into exactly the sort of trouble you'd expect under those conditions.

It's not so much that I thought better of her, but that I thought better of TV. ...But, I also haven't owned a television in decades, so I might just be out of touch with how the mainstream has changed. Last time I watched TV on a regular basis a porn star didn't really have a PUBLIC persona. Some people might have known of them, but it wasn't accepted as part of the mainstream culture.

Ex Adult Film Star Jenni Lee Discovered Living in Underground Tunnels Under Las Vegas

Former adult film star Jenni Lee, whose real name is Stephanie Sadorra, was discovered living in the underground tunnels beneath the Las Vegas Strip in July. The 37-year-old Clarksville, Tennessee native appeared in a documentary about the hundreds of homeless people who live there that appeared on Dutch television. Sadorra was barely recognizable during her interview, in which she said she got "maybe a little too famous" in the porn industry.

"I actually got very famous. Maybe a little too famous," Sadorra said in the documentary, reports The Daily Mail. "I should still be in the top 100 on some list somewhere. I used to be so hot."

Sadorra, who was ranked 119th on Pornhub's list of top porn actresses, said she likes living in the tight-knit community underground, even though they have no access to running water.


"It's not as difficult as you might think, everybody's really respectful," she said in the documentary, which aired on RTL 5. "Everybody's good to each other, which I don't think you find much (above ground)... I'm happy, I have everything I need here."

She added that "hardships built camaraderie" and she has more genuine friends how than she did before. In the film, she did not say how long she has been living underground.

Sadorra's PornHub account still has 45,000 subscribers and her videos have about 135 million views.

Sadorra started her career as a model at age 19 and appeared in television commercials before she started making hardcore adult films at 21. She made her most recent appearance in a 2016 movie.

There are 200 miles of flood tunnels under the Las Vegas Strip, and hundreds of homeless people have been living there for years. A 2016 report by News3LV described the tunnels as being in complete darkness and they become a "death trap" when it starts to rain.

"Walking 50 feet, I've seen it go from ankle-deep to waist-deep. That gets scary because I've been trapped down there when it's been that deep," a homeless man named Alex told the station at the time. "You don't know how long you can hold on in the dark with the water."

Earlier this month, another adult film star stunned the Internet with a surprising revelation of her current status. Mia Khalifa, once thought to be one of the most popular adult film stars online, said she only made $12,000 during her career.

"People think I’m racking in millions from porn. Completely untrue," Khalifa tweeted. "I made a TOTAL of around $12,000 in the industry and never saw a penny again after that. Difficulty finding a normal job after quitting porn was... scary."

I’ve heard of some really disturbing shit coming out of Eastern Europe regarding new talent.
That they’re all a bunch of poor straight bastards in desperate need of cash and that these porn companies essentially film them getting raped by another performer. Because straight men being turned or violated is a very popular gay fantasy.
