Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

So, its time for a Bubba Fest fan interaction round-up (might do another one later):

Vic:

Someone archive these video:

Nick Rekieta:

NAZIS!!! NAZIS EVERYWHERE!!!!!

My pearls! Bring them to me!

/Kick Vic

The livestream is starting now!

"Use of the phrase 'burden shifting' which has no legal bearing at all such that I am aware."

Yeah, Black's Law Dictionary is basically a compendium of things that have no legal bearing. Sometimes I wish I understood why the exceptional cling to such easily debunked delusions, but then I fear that possessing that insight would stir Cthulhu from his slumber.

"Because the others cannot hope to survive against a war chest, it is a grift. Wah. Play fair."
You typed that incorrectly. The grammatically correct formatting is:

WARCHEST!!!

Looks like its going well
Are you kidding? LOOK AT ALL THOSE WAHMEN HE'S ASSAULTING!!!
But lawyers don't have hearts either
That's not true. I have it on good authority that Nick owns several, and many more held in escrow.
(Opens Sen's livestream to see what's going on)
(Closes it after 10 seconds)

Sorry, I'm not at the same autistic levels as you guys are to deal with this or figure out about this Kelly guy.
Yeah, I'm at the beginning, and Senpai is already pulling that KickVic tactic "AHA, SO YOU ADMIT THAT ONE PERSON WHO'S ON YOUR SIDE IS WRONG, OMGLOLBBQ!"

I don't know that I even want this guy on "my side." You don't win hearts and minds by cannibalizing the absolute worst tactics of your opponents. Hope it gets better.

Dictionaries are generally used to help get basic knowledge of something, not actually use it. It gets real annoying when people who are not attorneys in the state of Texas making claims Ty who has many, many years under his belt is told he has no idea what he's doing and that Vic is going to lose due to Ty's incompetence. And people revere these "attorneys" as the greatest people ever. Even Nick admits Ty knows Texas law better than he does and Ty just verifies stuff Nick says as correct or "correct* but..." as he's experienced.

I'll at least give Casey and Lemione the benefit of the doubt here as they did pass the bar exams to serve and this Twitter and VA field work is probably new to them. It's a bit new to Ty (I think he's amused by the reception of it) and kind of sees where Nick is going with his Lawsplain show. For all we know, these lawyers could have been lied to and oh boy will that end badly for the defendants when they find out the truth.

I look at it this way. KV'ers gave up any claim to human treatment by their actions against others. If some drama sped wants to use all their worst tactics against him, I'll neither approve nor disapprove. I'll just stand off to the side and appreciate Karma for what it is.

As to the hearts and minds...They have neither hearts as displayed by their actions, nor minds, as ALSO displayed by their actions. TLDR: They're no better than feral animals. Fuck'em.

So, I discovered something.
Apparently, Vic was recently involved in a crowdfunded film called When the Train Stops:
@Svetlana produced the film and it is set to screen at the Independent Shorts Awards at Raleigh Studios Los Angeles:

As well as on, ironically, September 6, 2019, at the Burbank International Film Festival:

Oh wow. I'm sure Vic chose not to promote it because of not wanting to attract controversy, but why have we not heard about this yet, @Svetlana?

The claim was not "has no legal bearing in Texas." It was "has no legal bearing at all." (And it betrays a basic lack of knowledge of the concepts on which our judicial system is based to believe that the law would demand someone prove a negative, even in Texas; this is what burden shifting protects against). "Help get basic knowledge of something" is precisely what Nick does on his streams. To criticize someone for using a term that exists in a legal dictionary to help explain a concept to a layman by pretending the term does not exist is... exceptional.

Yugh. I'm still only part-way in, and this guy has just the most garbage takes on Ty's case:

"Ty should have coached Vic to lie in depo." Yeah. And hand KickVic a moment like where it comes to the Judge's attention that Ty's not convinced the tweets are authenticated? Let Vic get contradicted or have no recollection of stuff that comes up in testimony/affidavit?

"Ty shouldn't have asked for more time to go over 500+ pages of info." Why the hell WOULDN'T he? His opponents already called 400 tweets (and even far less in pages) "unduely burdensome."

Yeah, no SHIT this guy is "not a lawyer."

Also, I'm pretty sure one or two twitter lawyers have already said that the burden of proof DOES and CAN shift. (Just in some imaginary circumstances where it's the thursday after a blue moon and Vic isn't involved.) So even law twitter disagrees with his position on that.

EDIT: Yeah, I'm clocking out halfway through. I have better shit to do with my time than listen to two spergs try to out-sperg eachother. Let me know if anything at all of note happened.

To sum it up:
-He is the guy who wanted to debate nick.
-Apparently he has been doxxed on 8chan before in I think 2016 (if I am right)
-He really dislikes nick, sees ty as incompetent yada yada.
-Towards the end he gets highly aggressive because of music and more people talking about every point he makes, but mostly because he dislikes @KEK7go and @Spectre_06 but they can tell their reasons on their own.
-He also calls senpai a nazi or something like that.

I might have some of that wrong but that's what I got, someone more in the know can do it better than me.
Overall quite an entertaining watch if you're a masochist.
He hate me because I'm a deviant and thinks I'm Nick's stooge, which is fair.

I think this mostly boils down to the feud between him and @Spectre_06 and spectre posting Kelly's dox and some videos of Kelly in Nick's discord.

I haven't watch the stream, but the impression I'm getting is that nothing was really accomplished besides someone making a fool of themselves online.

Honestly though, it doesn't surprise in the slightest. There is a reason why Kickvic doesn't have a notable place in youtube. They rely heavily on the emotional response to the accusations. But arguing your point is hard when all you have are raw emotions guiding your decisions.

That is their "Old Reliable." To get an emotion (usually outrage) for the sake of driving their agenda.
They hope that no one investigates their claims and sees their BS for what it is.

What's funny is shortly after Marzgurl and the others started saying, "We need to get a movement going on YouTube to counter Nick and the rest of #ISWV", JMK showed up almost immediately going after Nick, Ty, and the rest of ISWV. it's almost like he saw an opportunity.

Burden is shifted from prosecution to defense in a self defense claim at trial. See: Jodi Arias

I'm pretty sure they rethought that strategy after thinking about it possibly being worse than their social media defamation. Harder to backpedal with spoken word proof than written. But they were all too lazy to exert themselves to do it anyway.

Two reasons: 1. YouTube is less clicky and attention graby as Twitter (you get more people but less interaction)
2. Too much work. Requires recording audio and writing a script to keep yourself on target, etc.

We're talking about the laziest people on the planet. They don't go out to make friends or spend time doing stuff that's productive. What honestly would make you think they'd ever even put forth the effort to try and make a successful YouT...oh wait there's Marzgurl. How's this movement working out for her now? Has she finally reached...THE TOP OF THE CHARTS!
