I honestly think after the trial is over they going to throw them under the bus and hopefully do a lawyers stream to talk about how stupid marchi, soye and Monica are. I highly doubt Casey and Lemonhead actually think they are victims they just want to get paid, which they are not.
Casey seems sane (albeit sexist) but I doubt Lemon Fuhrer is since he helped with the Dallas news gay-ops and his scheming with Douchette, and he's barely getting a pay check

Everyone speculates that Casey wants out but they forget that Casey has his own exceptional filings. They're just overshadowed by the exceptionalnaught that is Lemoine's filings.

I began to think that Casey only does the best he can with what he has at hand for the clients he represents. This ignoring his comment at Carrey

You can only re-shape a turd so much to something more pleasant to see, but at the end of the day, it's still a turd and it'll reek strongly

What are we hoping to learn about this? AMA!
Can we get a copy for movie night?
I hope everything goes well for your screenings / festivals and wish the best for your award chances. Hopefully i'll remember to look into it later when it's more public.
After Faisal's affidavit Vic called Erica to check if she really felt the way Faisal described, and she told him Faisal was full of shit. I can just feel Vic's exhausted sigh from here. poor guy...
Again this shows the better character of Vic to the backstabbing mean girl gossip group participants. They gee themselves up in their little gossip circles without ever fact checking and will lie to a court regarding the situation. Vic went straight to the (assumed) 1st party source to talk about any issues.

genLock audience numbers from Toonami are available. Wild speculation need not be so wild anymore. Rank 34.

If I can get my fucking browser to work.

What I dont understand is why didnt Lomoine and Faisal check as well. It's one thing to claim you heard from someone else something on twitter. It is quite another to do the same thing before the court. Not checking your source at best leaves your affidavit open to being rejected as hearsay. At worst it could introduce a hostile witness in support of your opposition.

And in this case the worst case scenario came true. It's so mind numbingly stupid. Did they assume Ty and Vic would not try and check? Why would they think they wouldnt?

Faisal knew he'd be lying. He name dropped @EriMin and then proceeded to block her so that he wouldn't hear of the backlash. I have no idea why he would do something so fucking stupid other than he thought she would never find out that she was named dropped but that notion is equally as dumb. I can't find any possible reason why KV would willfully lie knowing how popular this case is and that the people they name drop would find out eventually. It doesn't make any conceivable sense no matter how you try to explain it other than them knowing they were intentionally lying and not giving a shit or that they did such a terrible fucking job that it's almost like they wanted to be found out for lying.

Jesus Christ, he can't control a deponent, he can't breathe, he can't talk without sounding like he's on the verge of tears, he can't lift 20lbs, he can't make a motion to dismiss without 500 pages of meaningless or unrelated evidence, he can't pick up that motion to dismiss because it was too heavy, he can't walk without a cane, he can't win a fight vs a mosquito and now it comes out he can't tell which court made a ruling?

I'm beginning to think the only reason he's MoRonica's lawyer was because he paid them in order to promote his blog.
No, it’s more the mosquito man was willing to play along with their stupid games while Casey wasn’t.
I can only hope that: Casey snaps, tell MoRonica to go to hell, and gets into Nick's show to laugh at how absolute units these people are
Nah, he’s too professional. I think it’s more after every time Roye visits the office, he tells the interns not to disturb him for 45 minutes while he bangs his head against the wall and dreams of getting absolutely shitfaced.

So mediocrity? Sounds like what I’ve heard when it was first airing.

wasn't LemonAIDS complaining about Ty wanting to get things from the affidavit stricken? Like he was complaining it was the wrong time or he wasn't allowed or something whiny.

Führer J. Sean Lemoine may literally have an oxygen-starved brain due to his reduced lung capacity. Maybe someone with access should pull his legal filings before and after he suffered an attack of the killer mosquitos to see if the lad was always this mad.

Is it just me or is Lemony only highlighting cases where the TCPA wins on his blog, and completely ignoring cases where the TCPA loses?

Someone (may have been Nick) had looked into him and found that he has five TCPA motions going through appeals. I don't know if that's all of his cases related to TCPA motions or just a smaller subset, but it would suggest that he's lost at least five of them.

My guess is that he just posts a bunch of crap about TCPA on his blog to lure in unsuspecting customers. Maybe he even suckers in other lawyers (Casey Erick or Andrea Perez might have suggested him, but maybe theye just wanted to dump MoRonica on some poor unsuspecting sap themselves) because who is going to take the time to determine if he really knows what he's talking about?

My guess is that they believe the penalty won't be severe or that it could be blunted. Or no one is going to go through the trouble of prosecuting.

But they live in their own reality so alien from ours. So I don't know.

Before this most recent post, his last two posts were about TCPA losses, and looking back a couple months, it seems to be a mix of wins, losses, and theory-crafting. Looking through his blog more in-depth, it's pretty clear that he at least believes he's a true expert on the subject of TCPA.

Looking at his actual TCPA filing in this case, however...either I have a fundamental misunderstanding of how TCPA filings are supposed to work, or his level of expertise is mostly limited to his ability to get a fairly good domain name for the subject.

I wouldn't be surprised if Casey had one of these then

I was assuming they dropped him after the whole "CARREY, YOU'RE A WOMAN, KNOW YOUR PLACE AND BEHAVE" thing because in a case like this that's not really the kind of thing you want your lawyer on record saying.

ETA: I've had a really fucking close listen to the deposition now to figure out what he had a bitch fit about. It sounds like Carrey said "He doesn't know much", I think Ty stifles a laugh, then she follows with "at all", and then Casey makes the sexist remarks to a sexual assault victim.

I more assume that Casey is trying to escape from this case, in large part because his new employers want him to work on cases involving clients that actually pay. It's not like they are getting any of that retainer now is it? That was paid to the first firm and is likely what Perez is billing against. Casey is probably facing a situation where it is advised he either gets some money from them, or quickly extricates himself from the whole ugly mess.

Their goal is to finish him at TCPA, hoping to use lies that Ty lacks the time or ability to refute, and end the lawsuit. They also want to punish Vic as much as possible, to whip him and make him decide that any victor he achieves will only be Pyrrhic (people in this board and on twitter buy into that, so you can see how hard these people are trying to get that message across). Basically, they have a short term goal and hope to succeed in that, not a long term one. It's the same as when a politician goes running for election and outrageous claims spring up against them suddenly. When the election is over, it usually comes out that these insane claims were lies, or they up and vanish, but often the damage has been done anyway and that politician has lost.

That's what's happening here. They're lying, they're throwing everything they can just to stoke the fires in a desperate attempt to destroy and demoralize Vic. It doesn't matter if their lies are found out later, so long as it's after the TCPA succeeds, or after Vic gives up and dies (career or reality). The only problem is that they're so incompetent and in so much focus that their lies are evaporating and failing before that can happen.

They did this with a number of key witnesses. Monica named a corroborating witness. he filed an affidavit that she's full of shit. Etc. Heck we've got these other morons submitting affidavits stating facts and knowledge of events when it is easy to see they were not present at said events, by being on the other side of the planet, or possibly in jail.

Can't wait to see how Erica destroys Falsel's affidavit.
