Even back when I was 15 and a huge Digi fan, I wouldn't even have bought this shirt. Like, what the fuck, what a horrid design. Digi needs to take some lessons from Nate and Ben, some of the only members of the PCP with actual decent merch. Hell, even the PCP shirts look better than that, dear Lord.

I'm pretty sure he means his fiance, May, and not his old editor Davoo. Davoo lived with Digi for a while like almost a year or something like that after editing for him for a while then moved back home to live with his parents and kept editing for Digi on the side and had a day job now as well until he moved again farther to the West coast with his girlfriend and stopped being Digi's editor and has a regular day job I assume full time while working on his game on the side. May has been his assistant for a while and he has been advertising her as such to justify her being in videos or being involved in the projects in some way. Since she gave up on her college degree and quit her day job she has been Digi's assistant 24/7 basically from what I remember.

This isn't really a deal-breaker in today's economy. The US, at least, suffers from a contracting labor market (due to demographic forces), which means they'll take anyone they can reasonably get up to speed. Incidentally, Boston (along with all of New England actually) has a shortage of young workers which puts her at a definite advantage in the job market.
