Even more amazing is that I've seen them recently idolizing Ron Toye and his actions as a fiance in apparently defending Monica rather than Vic's admitted infidelity as a fiance. If that's your barometer on the validity of a defamation case, I'm sorry but you've lost the plot, especially as a lawyer. Vic fucked up big time and I think we all recognize that. That happens. People can get better, especially when they admit to their mistakes and make the effort to do better. Vic is and has been, that much is clear to me as an outsider. Ron and Monica, on the other hand, have made NO effort EVER to make things right. They never wanted things to be right. They never wanted the truth to come out, as evidenced by their complete lack of anything substantive produced during discovery, including their own fucking tweets!!! They just wanted Vic to cower in shame, fading away into the darkness, that much is clear. To pretend like the complete disregard for the life of another man is somehow morally superior to admitted infidelity with attempts to make right is absolutely fucking insane. I tend to lean toward not judging the moral character of lawyers who have the duty of zealously representing and defending some of the worst people out there, but these twitter lawyers have over and over shown that they lack both maturity and moral character.
Given what came out last night, I think this post and the tweets that I briefly mention (really kicking myself for not grabbing those links and archiving them) are even more astounding. Ron not only is the type of person that these folks defend, he is the type of person that they CHAMPION. They'll sit and say that Vic is a terrible person for cheating on his fiancee, compared to the oh so great Ron Toye that is definitely just defending Monica like a sheepdog. Then, the moment information comes out that contradicts this idea entirely, and shows that Ron is such a pile of shit that he actually hit his wife in front of his own son, twitter law isn't even silent, they continue on talking about how this is totally unimportant, but Vic cheating TOTALLY IS. I genuinely never expected this. I figured it'd be something mildly embarrassing for Ron, but I never thought that he'd actually be this much of a subhuman.
